To laugh at women that don't work but........

To laugh at women that don't work but rush to the school gates 10 mins after the bell and usually rushing in at school finishing time rambling on about how busy they are and there is not enough time in the day.

I only work 16 hours a week and still manage to get everything done and a meal on the table.

So the question is ''Are people that work more organized?''

Baroque

it is well a well known and proven fact the the closer you are to school the later you will be Grin

slightlymad72 · 28/01/2011 13:55

oh yes please Fanella. The definitive guide to being the perfect mother, why has no body thought of this before? I know why!! we where all waiting for Matchbox to turn up, my god how have mothers survived all these years without her.

She might get her own TV show, wouldn't that be something, we could all stay at home watching her drivel.

JamieLeeCurtis · 28/01/2011 13:55

Oooh yes, Beertricks. You will win. Mine are out at 3.15 but I normally leave the house then because I don't like hanging round in the cold.

Peachy · 28/01/2011 13:55

I am not really either SAHM or WOHM (carer, 1 or 2 gours a weel self employed)

GlynistheMenace · 28/01/2011 13:55
Hmm

matchbox 'lolled' on MN

Baroque, surely your older DC will take over the childcare for you?

Wink Grin
PaisleyLeaf · 28/01/2011 13:56

LOL at 'school run chicken' Grin

AbsDuCroissant · 28/01/2011 13:56

Is matchbox p'raps Mylene Klass? That other visionary who has taught women the world over how to be pregnant.

LadyTremaine · 28/01/2011 13:56

slightlymad I think as long as you don't get your kids to school late you're ok...

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/01/2011 13:57

Honey - I know Grin = I used to live literally next door (shared 2 walls with the school and could see into the school hall from the back bedroom window) I was always one of the last parents in Grin.

I'm on the next street now and aren't late quite so often Wink

slightlymad72 · 28/01/2011 13:57

I solved the problem of being late for school, the kids now sort themselves out, gives me more time for growing my arse, its getting a nice size and shape now and fits perfectly on the sofa.

AMumInScotland · 28/01/2011 13:57

I think we need to know whether Matchbox believes in Global Warming? How about Intelligent Design? Where and when will we find a Higgs Boson?

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/01/2011 13:58

Glynis - surely that counts as "junking" them out though if the older children are looking after them??

Although by the time DS3 is 15/16/17 I'm sincerely hoping I'll have kicked the older 2 out to work/university/college/their own lives Grin

sevendwarves · 28/01/2011 13:58

Oh no she's gone!

Now what shall I do? matchbox I NEED your opinion!!!

ivykaty44 · 28/01/2011 13:59

why does this happen with woman, doing each other over?

This is why males get on without having to get one over on the housework and I do it all but much better Sad

Honeydragon · 28/01/2011 14:00

Ds is out a 3:15 and then has to take himself to athletics on account I am a shit mother, so technically I'm not collecting till 4.15 so really could win chicken Grin

PaisleyLeaf · 28/01/2011 14:00

Has she gone to sit outside the school already?

TrollyMcTrollPants · 28/01/2011 14:00

I think this is all a ploy to make us all late. We will all be sat here pressing F5 waiting for more pearls of wisdom..

MsKLo · 28/01/2011 14:00

Blimey

Not another one

Why do you care? If it makes you feel better to feel superior to these ladies go for it

And have some biscuits - there are plenty for you on here

slightlymad72 · 28/01/2011 14:00

Maybe we should do a long list of questions for the perfect one to answer when she gets back?

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/01/2011 14:01

ivy - I think there's only one person on this thread doing women over - it's not often you see WOHM and SAHM on the same side Grin

AbsDuCroissant · 28/01/2011 14:02

Agreed slightlymad. I mean, there's so much I'm unsure of now - my world has been turned upside down by the revelation that there is, in fact, a perfect woman.

slightlymad72 · 28/01/2011 14:04

I have just realised that my marriage could be underthreat, My Dh believes that I am the perfect woman, what if he realises that I'm not and starts chasing after matchbox.

MATCHBOX, I am desperate how can I stop my husband deserting me for you?

sevendwarves · 28/01/2011 14:05

matchbox how do you feel about the following?

BF or FF?
People on benefits?
Global warming?
Skimmed or full-fat?
To dunk or not?

Everyone copy and paste and add your own !

FanellaFudge · 28/01/2011 14:05

AbsDuCroissant - not Myleene. Sarah Beeny. She gave herself away with 'FACT'.
