To laugh at women that don't work but........

To laugh at women that don't work but rush to the school gates 10 mins after the bell and usually rushing in at school finishing time rambling on about how busy they are and there is not enough time in the day.

I only work 16 hours a week and still manage to get everything done and a meal on the table.

So the question is ''Are people that work more organized?''

You think this is the way to start an interesting debate?

OK. Off you pop, laughing all the way at the late people. We're all terribly sad that you couldn't find anything here to interest you. Bye!

AbsDuCroissant · 28/01/2011 13:15

"Can't anyone debate properly anymore?"

I can - but can you? You come on, writing a deliberately windy-up superior post, then come over all snippy when people disagree with you.

ThePosieParker · 28/01/2011 13:15

Serious debate?

Are working Mums more organised? No, what a entirely stupid thing to say. Some people are more organised than others, their career or lack of have fuck all to do with it.

matchbox20 · 28/01/2011 13:15

I work 50 hours+ a week. I think your 16 hours is pitiful. There, stick that in your pipe.

I work 16 hours when my son is at school because when I decided to have children I wanted to bring him up not junk him over to someone else to do it.

I wanted my son to grow up with me around and not a child minder/nanny etc.

sorry hobnob - I'll leave the milk and sugar on the table - you'll have to sort yourself out - unless the OP would like to come and do some of my stuff for me Wink

kerala · 28/01/2011 13:16

But what do you mean by debate? That we all wade in and start slagging off SAHMs perhaps adding shocking tales of our own about SAHMs who have cleaners or play tennis.

As my wise old granny said dont look around and compare yourself there will always be those better off than you and those worse. You sound a very narrow judgemental person I am relieved I dont know you in real life.

AbsDuCroissant · 28/01/2011 13:17

Wow. Good work - heading off to offend working mothers AND stay at home mothers.

DirtyMartini · 28/01/2011 13:17

Gosh OP, how original your ideas are.

Really thought-provoking stuff.

Thank goodness for you, eh?

kerala · 28/01/2011 13:17

Oh I see now you want to start criticising anyone who WOH longer hours than you do. Do you have any friends in RL?

sevendwarves · 28/01/2011 13:18

" I wanted to bring him up not junk him over to someone else to do it."

It just keeps getting better!

If you want to laugh at other mums go ahead, I'm actually mildly amused by how far your head is up your own arse.

Must be awfully lonely in that ivory tower of yours

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 28/01/2011 13:19

See Baroque that's just typical of a lazy SAHM . You couldn't even be bothered to put milk in my tea. Grin

TrollyMcTrollPants · 28/01/2011 13:19

Maybe schools should have "Mum Sheds" along side the scooter and bike ones where Non-working mums can waiting until school is finished. NEVER BE LATE AGAIN!!

That'd work right OP?

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/01/2011 13:20

Liek I said last week - Mumsnet has been invaded by wankers.

LadyTremaine · 28/01/2011 13:21

Wow - a post that slates both WOHMs AND SAHMs tis is I beleive a first.

So to be an honourable human being you must work in order to be organised and punctual, but work 16 hours only so that you don't have to 'junk' your kids over to someone else?

Hmm, ok matchbox (and beleive me I bear in mind your stupid name and the likelyhood that you are just here to cause a fire) so why do you work 16 hors then? Surely its not just so that you can be there for your kids as they are in school for 30 hours a week, no?

sevendwarves · 28/01/2011 13:21

GetOrf :o

sungirltan · 28/01/2011 13:22

matchbox20 - want a medal???

take you head out of your arse.

ThePosieParker · 28/01/2011 13:22

Get....well she does talk about junking over her dcs!!

AMumInScotland · 28/01/2011 13:23

So - you judge women who don't go out to work. And you judge women who work more hours than you do. Where in this is there a topic for genuine debate?

Your point appears to be "What I do is perfect. Anyone who differs from me is wrong. Discuss"

I work 16 hours a week to keep my mind active.

I made my money years ago..

its called planning.

giyadas · 28/01/2011 13:24

I'd give you a biscuit, but with my lack of organisation skills, it'd probably be quicker if you got it yourself.

matchbox20 · 28/01/2011 13:24

Don't take much to get you lot going, does it?
