To laugh at women that don't work but........

To laugh at women that don't work but rush to the school gates 10 mins after the bell and usually rushing in at school finishing time rambling on about how busy they are and there is not enough time in the day.

I only work 16 hours a week and still manage to get everything done and a meal on the table.

So the question is ''Are people that work more organized?''

defineme · 28/01/2011 13:41

I'm not going to get into what I do and don't do because that feels a little like showing off, but what I will say is....

I bloody hate getting out of bed and have great sympathy for anyone who finds mornings hard work.

One of the first cheery things that happens to me of a morning are the jokes with late parents that are fighting the tide of leaving parents as they rush in 5 minutes late looking all stressed.
It's one of the things I really enjoy about being a parent-that commonality of experience. The feeling that we're all very different, but we all know what a hassle mornings can be when whatever happens.

It's really sad that you feel so negative about other people-that's not good for your soul. Try and be a little more positive. Smile

The OP is looking to provoke a reaction.

"I work 16 hours when my son is at school because when I decided to have children I wanted to bring him up not junk him over to someone else to do it.""

Please explain - do your child only go to school part time? Because I don't know about you - but my children are in school from 9-3 (roughly) which is 30hrs a week.......

So you're just being a lazy arse the rest of the time???????

JamieLeeCurtis · 28/01/2011 13:45

Also, would like to know, what kind of laugh are we talking about here?

A titter behind the hand?
A big loud guffaw?
A piggy snort?
A side-splitter that makes you wet yerself?

I think we should be told

FanellaFudge · 28/01/2011 13:45

Okay, so LadyT should have: gone back in time and not had her DC OR, not worked.

sevendwarves · 28/01/2011 13:47

"Lady t...stay at home and look after your child"

So are you saying that she would have been better to rely on benefits rather that work?

No offence to anyone meant, just rather confused by the OP's opinions

matchbox do you actually know what you think is best?

Honeydragon · 28/01/2011 13:47

harsg is spelled harsh FACT Blush

Normantebbit · 28/01/2011 13:48

I think women who work outside thr home are just generally better human beings than those who are looking after their children.

Is that the response you were after op?

GlynistheMenace · 28/01/2011 13:48
