To laugh at women that don't work but........

To laugh at women that don't work but rush to the school gates 10 mins after the bell and usually rushing in at school finishing time rambling on about how busy they are and there is not enough time in the day.

I only work 16 hours a week and still manage to get everything done and a meal on the table.

So the question is ''Are people that work more organized?''

'My SiL won't let me piece my flower girls noses AIBU? - that should cover it.' that should do it honeydragon Grin

I have not read every post but I would say yes in my experience. when working full time and studying partb time my house was clean, tidy, always on time and dinner organised and cooked. now I am studying and not working I have found I am not at all as organised as I once. I think it is because when you have more to juggle time is precious but when your time has less constraints you have less presure and time seems infinite but you suddenly realise its not and.....heck talking of wich I better get to school Grin

KnittedBreast · 28/01/2011 14:25

Maylee · 28/01/2011 14:25

I know the answer to one

Burger King jnr whopper with McDonalds french fries Grin

Off to do school run now and not sneak into fast food chain en route

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/01/2011 14:26

tomhardy - not my experience - I was no better when working than I am now - I doubt I'll be any better when I go back to work later this year either don't tell matchbox that I'm ignoring her advice

CatIsSleepy · 28/01/2011 14:27

now why do beans need any kind of sauce eh? i mean, they're pretty saucy already aren't they?

Arneb · 28/01/2011 14:27

GlynistheMenace
hang about, if matchbox is so great at being on time, how does she know the late ones rock up (and i quote)

Because she'll be one of those standing round in the gates/doorways in everyone else's way (in/or out) gassing to other superior beings like herself or collaring the teachers who are desperate to get to their classes for a quick chat.

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/01/2011 14:27

oh and another key thing about the house being tidy when you're working - of course it is - there's no-one there to mess it up during the day Grin

tethersend · 28/01/2011 14:28

I doubt she's even got kids, Arneb Grin

fifi25 · 28/01/2011 14:28

who cares its not going to kill the kids to stand at the gate for 5 mins

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/01/2011 14:29

she reckons she's got a 9 year old - who when told to do something (such as tidy his room) just does it, just like that, no fuss, no bother, no grumbles, no pre-pubescent strops........

GlynistheMenace · 28/01/2011 14:29

Baroque

Grin Glynis - I@m very Envy of your coffee pot. I had a coffee machine (just a basic one) that I got off freecycle........but it died, haven't managed to replace it yet

thumbdabwitch · 28/01/2011 14:31

is he a Real Boy, Baroque? or some fantasy boy in the fantasy land that matchbox inhabits, where everything runs like clockwork...

fifi25 · 28/01/2011 14:31

ha ha

Confused Bit odd to hang round the school gates then you can get in trouble for that kind of thing.

slightlymad72 · 28/01/2011 14:34

Arneb, is fine to hang around school gates as long as your there to judge people.

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/01/2011 14:34

I don't know - possibly thumbwitch - certain doesn't resemble any 9yr old boy that I know..........

Arneb · 28/01/2011 14:34

matchbox20 If you stop hanging round the school gates you could propably work more than 16 hours.

slightlymad72 · 28/01/2011 14:35

It does sound like a real boy, one that has spent his life listening is his judgemental mother and will do any thing not to hear her talking anymore.

well - I was going to do and do something useful, like washing, ironing, playing with the cat DS3, or getting the church newsletter done - but this is much more fun. So I think I shall park myself here until 3.09.30 Grin

Honeydragon · 28/01/2011 14:36

I have a 7 year old who tidies up when asked

Mind you he's probably trying to please me due to his abandonment issues from me continually picking him up late from school. Poor thing.
