Prostrate herself before the alter of MN bluddy?

Perhaps a bit of self flagellation wouldn't go amiss either?

scuzy · 15/01/2011 16:07

oh ok. will do thanks.

Report the thread, but MN will not delete it unless they have good reason. They probably won't delete this, as deleting just cos the OP regrets posting it isn't really the ethos of MN.

Ooopsadaisy · 15/01/2011 16:07

bupcakes - I don't think scuzy has done this as a deliberate attack on you or anyone else. I think it was a genuine attempt to open a fair discussion.

Don't come after me now - I'm just trying to be friendly.

If you fancy a few glasses of wine and it doesn't render you incapable then that's great and I don't think anyone has any issues with that. Certainly not me.

Two glasses would make me useless and tipsy so I don't feel I could do it when my dcs were young.

It is about personal parental choices and we are all entitled to them.

Don't hurt me.

DooinMeCleanin · 15/01/2011 16:08

My mum is hammered after a pint of cider OOoops. As is one of my sisters. It's very funny Grin

Me and my youngest sister have a much higher tolerence.

I have had a shitty few weeks with DH and illness and tiredness and her friends house was broken into and her car stolen while my sis was house sitting so we do have a date to get pissed next Saturday, to drown our sorrows.

A bottle of wine will be merely a warm up drink.

scuzy · 15/01/2011 16:10

I feel sorry for you scuzy, you're first thread and it was attacking one of the big girls...tut tut tut, watch me get hammered for this post though lol (the word vultures spring to mind - sometimes i can be a vulture too - i like a good roasting on a thread lol)

Then again, I'm pissed and my 12wo dd is sleeping lol....

cobbledtogether · 15/01/2011 16:14

Bear anyone.

DooinMeCleanin · 15/01/2011 16:17

Not hammering you BurnAfterReading but while Cupcakes is a regular poster, she isn't one I cross threads with often.

Nor did I know it was about her when I first posted. I disagree with the op because I disagree with the op. Nowt to do with who the other poster was.

We have had this thread a few times. They usually go the same way. It's got nothing to do with MN Royalty.

scuzy · 15/01/2011 16:17

one of the big girls???? lol ah sure tis initiation isnt it.

pissed already? hope you have an overnight babysitter, neighbours alerted and ambulance on standby Wink

cobbledtogether · 15/01/2011 16:18

Scuzy - I think your next post may need to be on here

scuzy · 15/01/2011 16:18

MN Royalty? lol does that mean i'm MN Shit on yer Shoe?

OP posts:
EricNorthmansMistress · 15/01/2011 16:19

Nope, I don't really know who bupcakes is and I hadn't read hers first. I just thought it was extremely bad manners, whoever the other person was.

jellybeans · 15/01/2011 16:22

I don't drink much especially if on my own but if I was doing so then would only have a couple of drinks and not get sloshed. If you are getting drunk then that could be a problem but that is up to each person to decide.

BurnAfterReading · 15/01/2011 16:22

scuzy...all in order thanks, but just incase it all goes tits up, send me your number and you can fly over here to protect us lol

MN Royalty lol, I never even thought of that, Can I use that in future..??

Everyone has an opinion on here regardless of who posts the thread or even who its about - was just saying that she could've chosen a better OP to talk about - I'm also new, I'm daft and I'm pretty much protected by being behind a screen lol

DooinMeCleanin · 15/01/2011 16:24

MN Royalty is a term that used to be used here a a lot it never failed to start a bunfight Grin

BurnAfterReading · 15/01/2011 16:24

also..change your name to SuperScuzyProtectoroftheNegelcted Grin

scuzy · 15/01/2011 16:40
