BibiBlocksberg · 25/12/2010 22:10

usualsuspect - I nearly had to change channel while Barbara was pooring. Couldn't believe it when she filled up the whole glass.

Then topped it up five mins later :) :)

"I did n't watch it as last year it was awful"

Agree but this year was brilliant again.

I loved it. The reference to Shaky Pete the electrician had me doubled up.

Am rather enjoying Come Fly With Me also Grin

KenDoddsDadsDogEatsTinsel · 25/12/2010 22:20

The bit about Mary being Desmond Tutu was funny.
Much better than last year!

BibiBlocksberg · 25/12/2010 22:22

"Am rather enjoying Come Fly With Me also"

Ditto - I see Matt and David are v. comfortable in their female clothes roles again :)

I wondered what she was crunching her way through!! No way, Pombears....that's awesome.

Wonder if Aherne and Co go on MN?

Pombears make me smile - used to have them in Germany many moons ago and was always surprised with their popularity in england.

And to think the tasty little blighters now have their own smiley (been dying to use it he he )

It was sooo funny. :)

Loved it last year, too. It's always brilliant. Love the writing, the ensemble acting, the timing, the humanity, pathos and bathos.

Agree about the Baileys. Was trying to laugh discreetly as 2 DDs were still up playing scrabble in the same room, and didn't want them to watch as didn't feel it was going to be entirely age-approporiate. But DD1 (10) heard it anyway, and came to watch and loved it as much as I do. Just brilliant.

MummieHunnie · 25/12/2010 23:56

I loved it, oh I so wish they would do another series!!

I think Ralph (Anthony's acting has gone down hill)!Sad

thenightsky · 25/12/2010 23:58
