Kreecher....is artisanal a real word? I cannot believe that you used a word with anal in it in relation to food!

irishqueensspeech · 09/12/2010 21:21

from my local cheese shop i give you black bomber .... www.snowdoniacheese.co.uk/

it actually beats m and s cornish cruncher and any other deli cheese i have ever eaten and i am the cheese queen!!

seriously strong cheese spread with chilli on toast also rocks my world!

MollieO · 09/12/2010 21:49

I got Wyke farms in our local co-op.

Thingumy · 09/12/2010 21:57

Wyke is OK for a everydayer.

this one is good for a supermarket job

irishqueensspeech I also looovvvvee Black Bomber. It's one of the best cheeses ever...

mawbroon · 10/12/2010 08:30

I got cornered in the street the other week to do some market research on cheese.

Unfortunately it was only about packaging and I didn't get to try any.

But I did get some shopping vouchers. Smile

I love cheese. My favourite cheddar is Glastonbury (like Montgomery only better). I know it is sold in the Cheese Block in East Dulwich and the posh cheese shop in Bath.

But my all time favourite cheese is Vacherin M'Or when it is in the runny season - about Oct - Jan. After that it is more solid and not nearly as much fun.

MaryBS · 10/12/2010 08:45

YABU, its OK, as others have said, Colliers is the best! :)

DasherandSmugly · 10/12/2010 19:40

Scooby we are obviously neighbours!

Stangirl - do I know you? Do you live in E. Dulwich?

FiveColdRingsForSolo · 12/12/2010 11:28

I found a cut off fingernail in my Wyke Farms cheese once! well actually, I didn't find it, my Ds got it stuck in his lower front teeth when he was about 18 months and I had to prise it out. It had the serrated pattern on it from the cutter and was obviously a young womans. Glad it looked clean though.

weeellll....

i went to m+s today and bought two tasters of cheese, cornish cruncher and soemthing else.

am going to taste them later. once CMP allergic dd4 is out of grabbing distance. as she has an obsession with trying to touch all things cheese atm, which obviously isnt good for a contact-milk allergic child lol.
