Conservatives to cut the sun from the sky tomorrow

TethHearseEnd · 19/10/2010 21:22

Taxpayers have been subsidising the sun for far too long, and it's about time somebody put a stop to all these scroungers sunbathing and absorbing light and heat FOR FREE.

Well done to them I say. Hit the lefties where it hurts, right in the solar panels.

well, what did everyone expect?

Don't they remember the last Thatcher administration? It was twilight for a decade.

faverghoulles · 19/10/2010 21:27

Think of the money they'll save when no-one gets skin cancer any more Wink

laweaselmys · 19/10/2010 21:29

Sun hogging bastards.

TethHearseEnd · 19/10/2010 21:29

It's about time the moon lost its monopoly on the night sky, too under the guise of 'public service'- let's see how it competes with other planets when its license is put out to tender.

I remember the Thatcher administration. I also remember the Labour clowns who came before her. She was not all bad.

Hassled · 19/10/2010 21:33

Hear hear. Bastard moon. What the hell does it think it is? I heard the man who lives there isn't from these parts.

cleggy36 · 19/10/2010 21:33

Although I admit she wasn't a ray of sunshine.

Mumcentreplus · 19/10/2010 21:34

Well i've always thought all this freeair people have been greedily breathing without a care or cost was out of order...

if you cant afford air don't breathe I say!!

scrappydappydoo · 19/10/2010 21:35

What I want to know is why have they not tackled the 'air' issue. People are breathing in FREE air. I think its disgraceful that everyone should have this 'universal benefit'. I think a sliding scale of air quality should be introduced in line with how much you earn - with the non-working 'air scroungers' having limited access to polluted air whilst clearly those who work hard and earn over £3million get the best air (because they do work the hardest after all).
Politicians and in particular members of the Con-Dem government will have access to special 'hot air'

lissieloucifer · 19/10/2010 21:37

you do realise dont you that these scroungers who blithely take sunlight without putting anything back use electric lights too, often at a much higher wattage than we who work for our sunlight.

Hassled · 19/10/2010 21:39

Those selfish bastard trees are first up against the wall, as far as I'm concerned. Bloody leaves messing up the pavements every Autumn, and of course it's the taxpayers who have to pay.

GoreRenewed · 19/10/2010 21:40

What about all that free water! Disgraceful.

And air.

Sassybeast · 19/10/2010 21:41

I have a significant amount of sunlight but I work damn hard for it and I shall scweem and scweeem if anyone takes a sliver of my sunlight away. Let the poor people live in darkness - the sunlight should be mine - all mine!

Giddyup · 19/10/2010 21:42

It's when they let all the bleddy forriners in too and give them 1st dibs on the air and light when we have pensioners going without.

pooka · 19/10/2010 21:42

You can tell a sun-hogging sun scrounger by the pink tone of their skin. Hence the name pinko. Freeloading scum.

sue52 · 19/10/2010 21:43

They're not bringing back window tax again are they?

pooka · 19/10/2010 21:44

And then it'll be the beard tax.

Mumcentreplus · 19/10/2010 21:45

True Hassled..even that friggin grass keeps growing how dare it!!..then we have to cut it??!!..and maintain it??!!!...my tax money wasted..astro-turf the lot!..saves cash and looks neat..

dementedma · 19/10/2010 21:45

TethHearseEnd
lmao

Sidge · 19/10/2010 21:45

Too right, I'm sick of the scrounging freeloaders taking stuff for nothing Angry

I think they should restrict poor people's right to oxygen too - I mean they take all that oxygen and only give back a small amount of carbon dioxide, it's hardly fair Angry

DomesticGoddessInTraining · 19/10/2010 21:46

I wish they'd bloody cut my grass.

Sassybeast · 19/10/2010 21:47

My fringe could do with a cut too.

Sassybeast · 19/10/2010 21:48

and as for the lady garden...
