Mitchum, smart solid deodorant for men (what's the difference for women?)

I bought two of these stick deodorants, the deodorant part fell off both of them, making them unusable, when I rolled it up, and no I didn't roll it up too much.

Anyone else?

A stick on bra.

Even as I was purchasing it, I felt a sense of doom.

Glued it on, it came off very soon later on and ALL the glue stuck to the inside of my Little Black Dress, leaving black fluff stuck to me for A WEEK under boob, as NOTHING would remove it. Not even turps.

nannynobnobs · 11/10/2010 17:41

I second the silicon bakeware though I only have cupcake cases (they were a present). They cook fine but they have scorch marks all around the edges! They look all tatty now.

nannynobnobs · 11/10/2010 17:44

Just seen that somebody mentioned the Loola too- great for the short time it worked, then the frame fell apart and my DH had to fix it by wrapping a length of thick copper wiring around one of the joists to stop it collapsing! (It was new but from Ebay)
AND you can't fit any shopping underneath because of the stupid way it folds up.

APixieInMyTea · 11/10/2010 17:44

I feel I have to defend dyson vacuum cleaners.

I have the dyson ball and it's fab. I've used plenty of vacuum cleaners and none have come close to my beloved dyson ball.

preghead · 11/10/2010 17:46

Miele Cannister hoover - utter shite.

preghead · 11/10/2010 17:48

Also agree with the GAP PJs - look nice but who the hell do they fit?

preghead · 11/10/2010 17:49

And meant cylinder hoover BTW not cannister - not bad at cleaning but the most unwieldy, awkward thing I have ever attempted to drag around behind me. Come back upright Dyson, all is forgiven.

LittleCheesyPineappleOne · 11/10/2010 17:52

YY to Dyson - I hated ours. It was really crap; I was so relieved when it finally broke down. Style over useability IMO.

(I love my Miele Cat and Dog)

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 11/10/2010 17:52

Argos 'solid' wood furniture. Actually most stuff from argos.

parakeet · 11/10/2010 18:53

Look, if you think the standard Ele-fun is shite, wait til you get a load of the Playdough version.

I literally had a 5-year-old in tears after she was expecting it to whoosh the butterflies up in the air, like the standard version does. Naturally, the playdough butterflies, just, well, sadly plop onto the table. And don't even look much like butterflies.

MrsVidic · 11/10/2010 19:13

any value brand breast pads- the thought of the morrsions value pads still make me shudder (I gave up bfeeding 4 months ago!)

oneofthosedays · 11/10/2010 19:14

Vanish - never removed any tough stains, but sunshine did (which is a damn sight cheaper, though rare!).

Mitchum stick - Didn't break but was shite, I had well smelly pits.

Any clarks school shoes - don't last 5 mins with my daughter!

Some 3 pronged blind cleaner from the pound shop, broke with first use.

Tokyotwist · 11/10/2010 19:19

I love my dyson too. Although I will admit my latest replacement which is suposed to be compact is not as good as my upright was and it is certainly NOT compact.

Which brings me to my Barrats home. I love it but fgs where the heck do they expect me to put my hoover, mop bucket, ironing board etc. Huh Barratts, WHERE? WHERE? WHERE?
That's right you didn't build any freaking cupboards, did you?

trixie123 · 11/10/2010 19:20

Not to sound too Goldilocks but:
Boots wipes are too wet
Cussons wipes are too dry
Huggies wipes don't come apart easily when one hand is holding pooey bum in the air
Pampers wipes are just right! Grin

Oh and anything flat pack from argos is the work of the devil and utterly utterly shite and shoddy!

TwiningsConfusions · 11/10/2010 19:20

Pampers and Huggies nappies

All of them! total leaky, sticker breaking rubbish!

the only nappies we found that could contain dd's wees were own brand Boots pull ups and Lidls 'Toujours' range which are utterly brilliant.

I don't remember the same probs with Pampers 9 years ago with ds so they must have altered their products to make them more crap Hmm

2blessed2bstressed · 11/10/2010 19:22

Maison Belle washing up liquid - love all the other stuff in the range, but it's in a pump dispenser that kept dripping all over the windowsill and worktop - threw it in the bin in a rage in the end, grrr! Angry

CrazyPlateLady · 11/10/2010 19:25

I second crap Argos furniture. Even though we have some, some is now boarding out our loft due to the shiteness.

Mamas and Papas Aria pushchair. What a cheap load of shite. Never again.

I like the ready bed though. Bought mine second hand and never had a problem.

Tokyotwist · 11/10/2010 19:26

That reminds me, I once bought a pretty soap depenser from Habitat, only to find the metal dispenser part rusted when put into contact with liquid soap.

Hotpoint washing machine. It's broken 3 times in the 16 months we've had it. Am tempted to hit it with a brick but then it won't be covered by the extended warranty.

OooeeeoooeeeoooeeEthel · 11/10/2010 19:28

JMO Magic eraser may take some marks of the wall but that's because, if you look closely, it's stripping the paint.

euphrosyne · 11/10/2010 19:38

Bambinex easy comfort All in one reusable nappies.
Always leaked! I only used them six or seven times. Angry
Gutted because I paid a small fortune for them

thecaptaincrocfamily · 11/10/2010 19:47

Nicki Clarke hair straighteners, mine set on fire in my hand on friday! Shock

Ladyanonymous · 11/10/2010 19:51

Agree with Mosschops on the Rimmel Mascara in the pink tube, bloody horrid stuff and it made my eyes water constantly Hmm

bigchris · 11/10/2010 19:53

Those gel things you put in high heels to make your feet comfy. Nope they just slip and slide about until you bin them halfway through your night out
body contouring pants - you can't breathe in them and they just push all your fat up so you get a muffin top
any cream that says it will make you look radiate on two hours sleep
