To be pissed off that the EDL are marching through my town tomorrow..well the march is banned but they are allowed a peaceful protest town is multi cultural and it makes me sad that this will cause unrest

I was born in Bradford, my parents moved away in the early 1980's for reasons including racial I live nearby though and not really aware of anyone not wanting to mix in particular?

Its been all over the local news - its terrible. I thought they were not allowed to march, only stand, which is still awful but its a small victory.

i live in leicester and am mightily pissed off that these prats are coming to my city - we had heard a rumour that they are not coming here because police presence so high but will do a last minute diverison to a nearby town - i wondered about goose fair or deby perhaps? teenage dd1 told by her school not to go into town - horrific! I think there is some sort of do on on sunday as a sort of reclaim the city event .

How do we know there was no bother? All you can see in the pictures are the protesters at close range?

In the real world, people who negatively characterise groups on the basis of their ethnic origin are known as racists.

The EDL have been caught on camera many times giving nazi salutes, known active members are known to be BNP, there are photos of some with swastika tattoos. I don't want them to be free to shout abuse at me in the street, so I guess I'm guilty of not wanting to mix. But what do you reckon seymour, am i a paki?
