Not unreasonable. Just sick and weird Grin

Meglet · 17/09/2010 15:17

I have it for breakfast every day. And I took marmite to china, india and the USA.

One of my friends works in the hospital kitchens so he sent up mini portions of marmite at breakfast when I was in after my c-sections.

I even taught the dc's to recognise marmite so it was one of their first words. Blush.

diddl · 17/09/2010 15:27

I love marmite.

Can´t get it hereSad

Or those twiglets(?) that have a coating of it.

Forgot to buy some when last in UK & too mean to pay postageBlush.

PersonalClown · 17/09/2010 15:29

proudnglad · 17/09/2010 15:30

I love Marmite so much I could weep

Bingtata · 17/09/2010 15:30

YANBU i have it for breakfast too. I even considered buying some of the new extra strong stuff today, but it was £4 for a jar!

meltedchocolate · 17/09/2010 15:31

YABVVVVVU! However I like twiglets.... does that make me wierd? :o

PomPotty · 17/09/2010 15:31

YANBU at all, love it and remember being soo very proud when DD had her first taste at about 12m and loved it immediately Grin

ShrimpOnTheBarbie · 17/09/2010 15:32

No. Especially if you top it with cheese; or avo and tomato. Live in Aus so have vegemite instead but it still works.

Marrow · 17/09/2010 15:32

YANBU but has to have loads of butter and be on white bread. Yum!

AMumInScotland · 17/09/2010 15:34

meltedchocolate - no, twiglets are somehow completely different... weird isn't it?

TheArmadillo · 17/09/2010 15:35

YANBU

I have it everyday for breakfast - at the moment I am having the extra strong stuff as got given a jar as a present. It is even better than the ordinary stuff, more marmitey.

Ds takes after dh in everything except for his love of marmite. I won on that one Grin

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 17/09/2010 15:35

YANBU, I love it.

Has to be white toast though.

djinnie · 17/09/2010 15:38

YANBU

GORGEOUS!!!! With lashings of butter too.

MadameCheese · 17/09/2010 15:40

I really want some now, thanks Annie Wink

nickelbabe · 17/09/2010 15:42

YABU - marmite is bloody disgusting.

mountainmonkey · 17/09/2010 15:43

YANBU - anybody who doesn't like marmite is a weirdo!

Anniegetyourgun · 17/09/2010 15:47

White toast and butter (or sunflower spread), yes indeedy. Also agree re cheese.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, I used to split hot sausages lengthways and spread marmite thinly within. That was a bit nice.

As for those who hate it, good! More for me.

YANBU! Marmite on toast is my favourite food in the world.

KnottyLocks · 17/09/2010 15:47

Bovril's much nicer

bellavita · 17/09/2010 15:48

I love it too.

MiniMarmite · 17/09/2010 15:48

Funnily enough I think YANBU

proudnglad · 17/09/2010 15:49

Ooh no Annie, never sunflower spread!!!

Has to be on thick brown bread with Lurpak butter and spread really rather thickly.

Drroooooollllll

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 17/09/2010 15:52

I love marmite.

I have marmite on toast for breakfast every morning. It's my favourite meal of the dayHmm

The new marmite cashew nuts are divine by the way.

VictoriasLittleKnownSecret · 17/09/2010 15:52

The new vintage marmite is lovely. It tastes like marmite that has been toasted.

Anyone put marmite on bread and then toast in the grill? It's like that. Yum
