To think that a woman the other day had given her DC incredibly poncy names?

Artemis and Montgomery.

One or the other but both together was a bit much I thought.

Apologies if you are an MNer and you read this.

DilysPrice-dogs names? Any frigging name can be a dogs name.

Monty is quite middle class labrador though

Starbuck999 · 03/09/2010 21:59

Yep totally poncy names.

NW20 · 03/09/2010 21:59

I agree with you, but most of them should be in Chat rather than Am I Being Unreasonable.

Asking people if you are being unreasonable for having a crush on someone isn't even a question that makes any sense in my opinion.
Obviously I am not referring to you.

Hey ho..

Starbuck999 · 03/09/2010 22:18

Scottish mummy - Can you translate please (grin) Skelped? Nipped?

RnB · 03/09/2010 22:20

Everyone likes different names. You would no doubt snigger at my children's names (OMG I have an Artemis AND a Benedict Shock)

Just because someone likes classical names doesn't make them a ponce so YABU

I can't judge as I have a 'hippy' name and when I named one of my son's my mum thought I was joking. She then refused to call him by his name for 2 months. I still love it though Grin

I did go to school with a Porsche and a Mercedes which always made me giggle.

CaptainNancy · 03/09/2010 22:25

They're both nice names I think... but I am wondering if you have changed them slightly for this thread???
