Huh.

I think the oddest thing about Boden is that it is so instantly recognisable. Why would you want to be thus identified? Oh look at me in my hodge podge top thingy.

I am sticking to blue.

pagwatch · 04/09/2010 19:46

I want to see you blue dress Hull
You show me your blue number and I will show you my maxi 70s Margot stylee..

Anything called Hodge Podge would scare me a little

Umami · 05/09/2010 10:18

{grin] at cupcakes and clitorises! The Bodenites will come to you in secret at cake sales requesting your declasse recipes and sexual advice.

I had wine last night ShockShock

RatherBe · 05/09/2010 14:34

You could make them use a secret password before you will give advice, like 'the clearance sales are at an out of town location'

pagwatch · 05/09/2010 18:14

I have my gingernut recipe concealed in my labia..

tethersend · 05/09/2010 18:18

Spicy gingernut. Yum.

Hullygully · 05/09/2010 18:31

It's not funny.

I have remembered that in the same conversation the said staff member did say "anal sex," so I'm not feeling so bad about the whole thing.

I don't have a blue dress, Paggy, only the aforementioned hideous bhs number. But if you picture the most vile thing you can imagine, with sort of a gathered between breasts thing, a few buttons and a pattern of unimaginable horror, you'll have a good idea of the dress.

Hullygully · 05/09/2010 18:32

Umami - have you not had wine for a while? How on earth do you manage?

OP posts:
Hullygully · 05/09/2010 18:34

But Tehters, at least I didn't get Birk thing shoes, just good old Sainsbury's flip flops. I am a style icon.

pagwatch · 05/09/2010 19:03

Does anyone else want to go to Hullys school.

Spicy Gingernut Hmm

I liked the man on radio 5 this morning who described wayne Rooneys sex story as a bit of a ... Hot Potato Grin

Come shop with me Hully. I do few things as well as I shop.
I can soak up your general icon- ness and you can enjoy my abilityto go into shops and find bargains at 100 paces.

We can go have clitorises

Umami can bring her spicy nuts

Umami · 05/09/2010 21:04

I did ponder clitorii (as one does on a Sunday).

Hullygully · 05/09/2010 22:27

Good for you! I trust it was a cotillion?

Shopping is the devil's own devilish thing. It is not to be countenanced, that is why Sainsbury's introduced Tu alongside the ready bag salad thus obviating the need to shop ever again.

later that night...

Hullygully · 06/09/2010 11:10

Paggy - how's dd now?

Where the hell is Gibbon?

OP posts:
Gibbon · 06/09/2010 13:12

Found you!

How is everyone?

We had guests over the weekend and I am shattered from it and a tad fuzzy headed from the red wine. I forget that not drinking for nearly a year has left me without my camel like capabilities regarding wine consumption.

I did a bit of shopping on Saturday, got my hair cut and colured then popped into town. As a result of this jaunt my diet starts today. It was not a pretty sight in the changing rooms. Nothing like harsh lighting and a full length mirror to kick a girl into action.

So at lunch yesterday I ate like a woman possesed. It was a disgusting sight to behold and but I had no shame knowing I would not eat like that for some time.

You can tell I have missed you all, I am rambling aren't I?

pagwatch · 06/09/2010 13:40

hey Gibbon

I do some shopping on line, then I just keep in my head the knowledge of what it must look like on me - what with me looking so like the model. Always.

Hully, she is much better - thank you.
Had a lovely party on Sunday and only had to sit out a few bits.Finished steroids, finished one set of anti-biotics and only has other ABs and four hourly inhaler for a week more.
All being well she can go back to school tomorrow [hooray]

Gibbon · 06/09/2010 14:07

So pleased DD is on the mend Pag and was able to enjoy her party Smile

I keep saying I am going to shop more on line, I think I would save money too. I have to avoid the make up counters in department stores. They are my weakness (as Chanel found out on saturday, I always believe the scary looking women when they tell me I need this seasons must have whatever)

I am such a sucker.

tethersend · 07/09/2010 10:04

I'd just like you all to know that I agreed with bran on a thread yesterday.

Memories....

Gibbon · 07/09/2010 10:17

Was it a genuine agreement tether? Mucho kudos deserved if so.

tethersend · 07/09/2010 11:20

It was!

How are you, Gibbon?

Gibbon · 07/09/2010 12:09

All good here thank you tether Smile Hope all is well and good with you.

Gibbon · 08/09/2010 13:59

If you stand by the sea, it sounds just like putting a shell to your ear.

Umami · 08/09/2010 14:29

SWOOOOOOOOooooooosssssshhhhhhhhhhssssssSSSSSSSWWWWWOOOOOOSSSSSssssssHHHHHHHHHHH.

Gibbon · 08/09/2010 14:30

... which is why I start sentences in the middle.
