In a sort of patronising tone?

Ggggggrrrrrrrrrrr
My fellow MNetters, does anyone actually find buying jeans
A) easy?
B) a pleasure?

No? I thought not
Permission granted then?!

Gap have just re-introduced the Bootcut style in longer sizes (I'm 34" and they fit really well).

This so annoys me. Especially so because people are always saying they are jealous of my figure and yet I still can't find clothes which fit properly.

The last pair of jeans I bought fitted perfectly in the changing room. I tried on a size smaller but couldn't get them over my thighs. Brought them home, cut the tags off and put them on - and suddenly there are an extra 2-3 inches which flap around the waist and make the whole thing fall down so it's low rise which I find really uncomfortable.

And tops - If I buy a top that fits in the body the arms are too short Confused Especially if it's a hoodie/jumper, for some reason. I'm not that tall, only 5'8 or something!

I read through most of this thread before noticing that it was an old one and just knew that the person who resurrected it would be linking to a company!

Anyway. I'm a definite apple shape and so have pretty much given up on trousers altogether. Normally trousers that fit me around the waist have a horrible saggy bit around my tummy. I'd love it if clothing manufacturers would label their trousers as being designed for an apple or pear etc the same way they do for extra long or short. These days I just live in skirts and dresses because at I can usually tell from how they look on the hanger whether or not I'll want to cry once I try them on.

I just want jeans that don't fall down within an hour of me putting them on. I pull them on all snug then an hour later I'm holding them up. I'm not even fussy enough that I want them to look good yet >
