Katie Price in Lincoln today

There was a 300 yard queue outside the bookshop 3 hours before she is due for the signing at 5pm today. I can see why she is worth £30m. Jordan really knows how to work our fame culture in England. Is she BIG in other countries?

I was in a shopping centre in Edinburgh last year and there were literally hundreds of teenage girls queuing up. I asked a security guard what was going on - Katy Price was coming in to sign a book. I thought it was unbelievably depressing that so many young girls look up to her.

That woman is a trollop. I watched about 2mins of her reality show the other night as there was hee-haw on the tv. Her and her DH were on their honeymoon. She was angry because she could see people with cameras , eh yeah people on their holidays just taking pictures, not the press you muppet. So they then decide to go to another part of the island to be more discreet, hmm I think the bloody camera crew you insist on following you around 24/7 will give you away.

If it wasn't for the press she wouldn't be worth half as much as she is now.

Sorry but she really bugs the hell out of me. And I agree about how depressing it is that young girls are looking up to someone like this.

She is one of those completely pointless celebrities that are springing up all over the place nowadays - Peaches Geldof, Tara Palmer Tomkinson and the like. God be with the days when you actually had to be talented to become famous.

I cannot stand Katie Price. She is the most revolting woman around IMO she is a tasteles, false, tacky plastic surgery addict, her voice is like nails down a blackboard - her sense of self importance is unbelievable - like I give a fuck about her life or watch any of her shows and she releases single but apparently its "just for fun" well don't release it then and appear on my morning TV looking like a freak wearing a gorilla suit- OMG the woman is a disgrace to womanhood - what does she actually contribute to society? Apart from giving teenage girls a totally unmoralistic view of society and encouraging us to not revel in ou intellect and natural beauty. Who gives a fuck if shes tried for yet another baby with a third father - do us a favour love - don't!

I'm not a fan.

What Lady said. Katie Price creates a drama around herself and then complains about the drama! Cannot stomach the woman and her voice makes my ears bleed whether she's singing or talking.

Also- it irks me beyond belief that she openly states how proud she is of her books and yet never writes them. What does it say about Britain today (rousing background music) when our literary top ten contains books "by" a topless model who can't string a grammatical sentence together.

swanandduck TPT is a very talented pianist - if she'd spent a little more time on white ivories and a little less on white lines she'd have been concert pianist standard!

If it's any consolation whatsoever with Jordan her horsey line doesn't do well. It's always in the half price bin - but then who does want their pony-mad 5 year old dressed like a fluorescent hooker?

I kind of like Katie Price - she's no push over or victim, and very much in charge of her own life. A good role model in that respect.

honestly, the role model thing is just such utter bullshit. she's clearly a very, very, very damaged person who seeks to manipulate and control people through nastiness. that this has made her rich is just something more to worry about for our society and children, it doesn't make her a bloody role model.

She was doing an appearance in Epsom a couple of weeks back to promote her equestrian range. There were huge queues and made all the worse because she was late for the appearance.

You have to give her her dues that she has really made a fortune out of very little talent.

She is a terrible example, but she does have really awful problems... I do like Peter Andre I think they both have to earn their living in the public eye as what else could they do?

The reason I like Peter Andre is I think he helps de-stymitise mental health illness and he has been a good Dad and a great Step Dad..

I better go don my hard hat now..

Was so proud of DD1 the other day. Katie was on GMTV and DD1 took one look at her and said, 'Oh, dear. Was she burned like that other lady (Katie Piper, a far better 'role model')?'

I said, 'No, she wanted her face to look like that.'

She said, 'Why? It's horrible.'

Well why not - she's more a role model than other female celebrities, like WAGS who's only claim to success is being married to a footballer. She has a mind of her own, she's quite assertive and is a good business woman in her own right. She's no bit of fluff clinging on to a man's arm.

but why not leave men out of the equation altogether? men are bugger all to do with this, other than they made her first fortune by wanking onto pictures of her. (which would make them wankers).

is she admirable, in and of herself? what does she do that is admirable? in what way does she behave admirably? etc. forget about wags, anyone who would admire them should be disenfranchised altogether for the safety of society.
