to hate the Zingzillas with a passion?

is anyone else unbearably irritated by this program? I run for the remote as soon as it starts, even my DC aren't keen on it thankfully for my ears.
Is it a complete BBC flop? Bring on more Charlie and Lola and less of the Zingcrap.

Shaz 10, the line is "making that Zingzilla sound" Not sure how I know that, I think we pressed the red button one day and all the songs are on a loop with karaoke sing along words. Worrying isn't it!
I find the characters and stories very annoying and they do all have very annoying voices. But I think the music is quite catchy.

LadyBiscuit · 26/07/2010 23:25

AllSheep - the person dressed in a monkey outfit dances in an inappropriate way for the under 5s? Are you serious?

I don't mind it personally - a hell of a lot better than creepy Justin

Onestonetogo · 26/07/2010 23:44

what's creepy about Justin? He's lovely.

NormalityBites · 27/07/2010 00:29

You can think he's lovely if you like, but if you can't see the creepiness I worry for you

Zingzillas shudder Hate it.

I have a secret passion for waybuloo. I want to be a pipling...

Fartytowels · 27/07/2010 00:36

ugggh YASNBU - even the theme tune gives me a bloody migraine.

SolidGoldBrass · 27/07/2010 00:55

Oh nooooooooo not Waybuloo! I absolutely hate that and won't let DS watch it (he is too old for it at 5 anyway). I used to thing kids programmes couldn't get worse than Toddworld for horrendous hit-you-over-the-head-with-a-board condescension - 'Everyone's different and that's OK!' 'It's GOOD to SHARE!' but Waybuloo is even more emetic, with hippy bullshit thrown in.

Fartytowels · 27/07/2010 00:57

I want to put all of Granny Murray's pals in a lime pit too, even though DS used to love it.

Rindercella · 27/07/2010 01:00

DD1 loves the ZingZillas. I don't actually mind it too much, but perhaps that's because I have sort of managed to tune it out so don't really hear it. She has though started to insist on wearing skirts all of the time to be like the ZingZilla girl thing

multitaskingbadly · 27/07/2010 09:03

hooray my dd turned off zingzillas this morn (all that campaigning has paid off at last!)

at sgb's crush on captain dj

Shaz10 · 27/07/2010 09:27

My son loves watching Frasier. It needs to start earlier!

Galena · 27/07/2010 09:35

Love ZingZillas. DD sits glued to it while I can have a coffee a big thing with a nap resisting limpet-child!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 27/07/2010 09:41

Count yourselves all very lucky.
I have to wear a ZingZillas Tshirt for work, it's not good. Not good at all...

Galena · 27/07/2010 10:06

Where do you work, ABF? I want one!

ShatnersBassoon · 27/07/2010 10:10

YANBU.

It's like the Tweenies have been to Cornwall for a long holiday and picked up some surfy hippyish ways. I hate them.

NorkyButNice · 27/07/2010 10:13

The fact that Panzee is played by the incredibly annoying Sarah-Jane is enough to force me to leave the room when it comes on.

That woman gets everywhere.

MrsLevinson · 27/07/2010 10:14

YANBU and glad I'm not the only one who gets the tune stuck in my head ALL day.

But Carrie and David's Pop Shop is more annoying surely.

Onestonetogo · 27/07/2010 10:26

Fartytowels, "granny Maury" looks hardly in her 40s, gives a warped idea of what a granny looks like? Yeas, her entourage were all pretty annoying.

Capt DJ from Space Pirates??? Not sure, I'd rather have a quickie with Mister Maker, he seems good with his hands.

MrsLevinson, Carrie and David's popshop is bad, bad, bad and it seems to have made a comeback this week, we shall not be tuning in!

My DC usually watch Ben & Holly, Peppa Pig, a bit of Ben 10, Charlie & Lola and the occasional Humf.

Amazingbouncingferret, do you work at the BBC? If you have inside knowledge, can you please let us know if the Zingzillas are a flop?

CiderIUp · 27/07/2010 10:52

Urgh - hadn't realised that Sarah Jane was a ZingZilla...

As an aside, why does the Everything's Rosie theme tune start with the words 'Arsing Around, Arsing Around'? V rude.

Dropdeadfred · 27/07/2010 10:56

I don't hate them per se, but I do hate the way he female one stands with her legs apart all he time....?!??!?

Jasonthunderpants · 27/07/2010 10:58

Third and bird is the worse in my opinion

You see, DD loves Same Smile too - and Something Special. Hate the Popshop nonsense and Green Balloon Club though.

OneTwoBuckleMyShoe · 27/07/2010 11:24

I quite like it but once you have seen them all several times over it gets very wearing.

However that new Carrie and David's Pop Shop shite is pure pap.

OneTwoBuckleMyShoe · 27/07/2010 11:27

Me with a 12 bore and night vision goggles and Nisha locked in a dark room.

I'd give her head start naturally
