is anyone else unbearably irritated by this program? I run for the remote as soon as it starts, even my DC aren't keen on it thankfully for my ears.
Is it a complete BBC flop? Bring on more Charlie and Lola and less of the Zingcrap.

I assumed someone in The Bopps had - ahem - photos of someone high up at Nick Jr. It's the only explanation. Their songs are dull and their look is dated. They're wearing Sergeant Pepper coats and their logo has the same font as The Goodies. They even have a record spinning round! What school-age child knows anything about records, except as history?

Megatron · 01/08/2010 08:32

Zak reminds me of Damon Albarn for some reason.

DS loves Numberjacks and I can't understand why, I think it was made with a budget of about £20. He's ruthless in his tv watching - he sits there switching through all the channels (regret teaching him how to use the remote!).

I like Big Barn Farm but he won't let me watch it

tethersend · 01/08/2010 08:42

Can anyone explain why carrie and David's pop Shop is happening?

It's like watching a car crash.

I can feel my soul slipping away...

LadyBiscuit · 01/08/2010 08:43

It makes me want to take to early morning drinking tethersend. DVDs, the only way to go

tethersend · 01/08/2010 09:03

They are wearing the same clothes in every episode.

It worries me more that I've noticed this.

Shaz10 · 04/08/2010 08:02

How much do you hate SJH in that advert for Mighty-Mites? She's got such a drippy monotone voice!

3Trees · 04/08/2010 08:34

My DS LOVES this show. Comparative to others it's not that bad.

In my opinion the adult pain factor comes becasue they show so few episodes SO MANY times.

We've seen them ALL SO OFTEN that it's mind numbing. I know kids like familiarity and repetition (not least my son) but if they would only make more episodes they could show each one less frequently, and I would feel a lot more sane!

3Trees · 04/08/2010 08:36

my initial post related to Zingzillas but...

Carrie and David's Popshop makes me want to smash my tv, and never wach another thing, it's painful

Might mites is ALREADY driving me insane due to the fact that DS thinks I have to "Feel the energy too, Mummy!"

Luckily, we DO have times when the TV is not allowed to be on, and we go out very frequently too (this summer we have already been to London a couple times, for activities, to Suffolk, and are planning a gret many other day trips, such as lego land and also the children's prom as well as a week in wales) however, DS has extreme need for routine, and goes into meltdown if he is not fully prepared,in advance, with a clear and understandable reason, that he will miss Zingzillas (Luckily he has transfered from I can cook, since that one seems not to be on much any more), which is his favourite show. The others he will happily miss.

Poledra · 04/08/2010 10:38

The reason they wear the same clothes all the time is so they can re-use the same clips. So, when Carrie and David 'warm up their voice', they've only filmed that once, and insert it in the appropriate place in each episode. It's disappointing, as I was longing for the day when Carrie fell due to the heel snapping on those ridiculous shoes she wears (well, ridiculous for jumping about in).

Shaz10 · 04/08/2010 12:52

Spacehopper5 I don't understand?

petertutu · 10/08/2010 23:36

I whole heartedly agree they are incredibly annoying, cheap teletubby imitations, even the toys look like cheap garbage, look at the plastic phone shaped like a banana www.zingzillastoys.org.uk/ I know it is in the show but it seems like a needless thing to turn into a toy

OneTwoBuckleMyShoe · 11/08/2010 08:26

The TV has an off button?! No surely not! Wink

I love the Zingzillas and so does my 3 year old. She likes the music and I like the diversity of music and instruments shown on the show.

I hate the beach birds though.

I can't stand David and Carrie, it makes me want to rip my ears off. Bearing in mind she's a vocal coach its a shame she can't sing.

I also hate hate hate ITNG - I don't see the point. Thankfully DD isn't interested in it.
