Thanks, KickKnack - I'm BZ. I can't imagine that no one at all would have helped if I really had asked (it's been saying that for the last few hours), seeing as I normally had 5 or 6 people helping more or less straight away whenever I asked before. There always seems to be something that's not working quite right on FV...

it says your barn raising is over. mine says 10 out of 10, but only gives me the option to quit or pay.

commiserations on the fringe...I think its a right of passage for all little girls. DS did DD about 2 years ago with some safety scissors, she looked bizarre for ages!

I'm sure we'll look back and laugh about the fringe episode once it's grown out! She wouldn't tell us what had happened at first and we were convinced her little brother must have done it - it's the kind of thing he would do! In fact, he's probably getting ideas already...

Thanks for all the gifts, fertilizing etc. in FV! We're off on holiday for two weeks now. My fields are plowed, animals and trees harvested and snow gone. Shame the house isn't quite so shipshape.

You're all making ZW sound both very attractive and scarily addictive. I'm torn as to whether to give it a go when I'm back or not. I guess it depends how much of a RL I want to hang on to...

My barn raising seems to have sorted itself out this morning, as I'd hoped - I was able to ask friends to help again and am now halfway towards a big shed.

Oh, and thanks ALFA for pointing out (on FB) that there's now a limit for fertilising/feeding chickens - I was convinced there must be some kind of problem with my farm. I haven't done too badly this morning, though; two golden eggs and I'm only halfway through.

I'm happy to add new neighbours too, raggie - let us know who you are, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of willing neighbours

I am getting sick to death of zoo world. I need 1 more white tiger to level up, but apparently, you can only get them from the feed...and no one is posting any! I have tried to help animals in the past week and it won't let me do it. I cannot click on the green Accept button (firefox or ie). Getting sick of all the glitches....

lol Simpson - I managed to harvest a neighbour's crops once; well, only one plot as I clicked on it by mistake. I thought I'd better stop then, tempted as I was to carry on harvesting.

nymphadora - I know you need to have 8 neighbours to buy a cowshed, but not that you have to be at a certain level... what does it say in your market under the dairy farm?
