poked dh in the ribs & he (ahem!) poked me back! Still, not going back on FB tonight... zzzzzzzzzz

Happy New Year everyone!

I can't believe how quickly the old thread filled up while I was away - I did have an Internet connection, but it was sooo slow and kept crashing so that it was all I could do to harvest my crops; everything else had to wait...

Levelled up this morning thanks to the New Year's ball and level 37 looks within sight today or tomorrow too. Have also decided to save up for a villa - "only" another 200,000 coins to go!

AnnieBeansMum · 01/01/2010 11:41

If anyone hasn't already added me - I play cafe world, zoo world, farmville and country life.

AnnieBeansMum · 01/01/2010 12:27

Couple of questions on Zoo World if anyone can help....

I'm currently level 18 and my ticket price is $4 still. Is this still a good price or could I ask for more?

Can anyone tell me how to help animals? I am able to adopt the ones I see in the news feed, but it doesn't give me the option to help any animals myself. Anyone have any idea?

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 12:33

I've got mine set at $16 at the moment.

Best thing to do is look at how much you're making per day, then increase the price - keeping an eye on the profit that day.

At some point you'll notice it starts to go down instead of up, so set it at the highest.

I do drop it (if I need to) for the achievements that require a certain number of visitors (and then put it striaght back up again)

They seem to have stopped the being able to help animals when you adopt one, you just have to wait for one to pop up while you're playing (I find always have Zoo World open in one tab helps them pop up a bit more frequently).

Does anyone play treasure mania?

AnnieBeansMum · 01/01/2010 12:55

Right i've set it at $10 and it seems to have gone up...I may bump it to $12 and see what it does

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 13:00

that's what I did Annie - I just played around with it to make sure I'm getting as much per zoo day as possible

I only need to buy 9 more animals to get (which are the really expensive ones - so a couple of million $'s LOL) to get my last 22 achievement

AnnieBeansMum · 01/01/2010 13:02

I need 7 more unique animals (at over $50,000 a pop!), daily profit of $16000 (which I should hit since upping my ticket price) and 5 insects or arachnids (no idea where to get them from)

I shall be lvl 18 for quite awhile!

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 13:04

how about £400-500k a pop per animal for the later ones

OP posts:
Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 13:05

insects I ended up buying the butterfly (I think?) when it was finally available - I just kept buying on of the each species until it was available.

OP posts:
Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 13:12

oh and something I recommend doing while they're still cheap.

Buy LOADS of maintenance managers and kiosk managers even if you don't need them now. They get more and more expensive (mine are currently $101k each!) I currently "need" 63 maintenance ones (have 59), and have 41 kisok managers..........wish I'd bought loads earlier on now as they eat up your cash

AnnieBeansMum · 01/01/2010 13:12

That's what I'm doing at the moment to my species number up. Next is the hammerhead shark.

AnnieBeansMum · 01/01/2010 13:24

DH is demanding the laptop. Doesn't he know I have crops to harvest, dishes to cook and animals to place in my zoo??

Back later ladies!

Jux · 01/01/2010 13:32

Hi, HNY everyone.

DH is hung over and grumpy so I'm glued to the computer and keeping out of his way!

DD has gone up 3 levels in Country Life (hmmmph!) and she's got a cheese master which I gifted her, and I can't get one until I get up to the next level, so I'm really jealous.

I've got 2 chickens in one coop on CL. Do I have to have a coop for each? Having two in one doesn't seem to do much.

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 13:34

you can have 4 (irrc) chickens in each coop - the more chickens in the coop - the quicker they produce eggs

Jux · 01/01/2010 14:17

thanks ALFA.

I've got a load of special presents if anyone wants them!

nymphadora · 01/01/2010 14:54

I am wanting to make sandwiches in CL , I have bread & cheese and jam, maybe this could be the next machine?

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 14:59

lol nymph - I love it

MumofOscar · 01/01/2010 15:55

I play treasure mania drinkyourmilk. Don't think i've got you as a friend, so add me if you like. My email is on the the other thread somewhere or you can look on other friend lists for me - initial HP. And anyone else who hasn't got me feel free to add.

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 16:15

only 4 more animals to buy to get to level 23 on ZW

It's a long arduous process though as I've done my treasure hunting for the day (and spent the money) so am waiting for the farm days to tick by before buying the animals I still need to buy to get 2 of each..........and the ones I need are all over $400,000 each - thankfully daily income is $65k so not too slow - but slow enough to be annoying

OP posts:
simpson · 01/01/2010 16:54

woo hoo only 238 blueberries needed

nymphadora · 01/01/2010 16:58

or a picnic, sanwich, wine & fruit?

Niecie · 01/01/2010 17:56

Nothing much to report today. Just kind of marking my place.

Whoever asked, you can have 5 chickens in a CL coup. I have tried adding more but you can't.
