WHY do chunky slebs always say that they've 'slimmed down to a size 12' when they HAVEN'T?

do they think we don't know? case in point Mica Paris (who looked infinitely better in the frock)... she's now 13st something and in a size 12.

there will be a dvd, oh yes there will. Vanessa feltz is still a size 12 you know... having bulked up from a 10. my arse.

she looks sensational, amazonian and strong and womanly. who cares what dress size she is (or isn;t) although she looks brilliant in the before pic , her legs are great.

why the obsession with being the 'right; size, if you are healthy and fit and a size 16, who cares??

I would never comment on someone's figure, I'm not thin myself, but she is not a size 12. That's all I thought the point of this thread was. And yes, Lulu, I agree she is all of those things, so why suggest you are a size 12, when you clearly aren't?

i think it is sad that we are all supposed to conform to one notion of beauty...

not everyone can be a toned and lean size 6. or 8 or 10. and i reckon a lot of the slebs who are, are that why due to madly restricting their intake of food and harsh excercising.

i really think you're waaaay missing the point, which is that a 'size 12' is the last bastion of slenderness according to celebs and the papers. no-one is 'happy at size 14' and so they say they're 12 when in many cases they're a good 16.

Yes yes you can be a size 16 and look tremendous (as I think she does in the dressed shot). It's the deceit that's the issue. Especially as it's designed to shift product

Tbh, it would be pretty much impossible to be her height (and have her boobs) and be anything less than a 14 I'd think

Another one doing this a the moment is Lawrence L Bowen's (sp??) wife. She's slimmed down loads, but a few weeks ago she was in a magazine 'so happy at being a size 12'. no way was she, she was bigger than me and I wear a 14.

yes, it would be so much better to say , yes, i am a 16 ( or insert any other dress size unacceptable to the meeeja) and look how farking sexy and fierce and gorgeous and confident i am.

llb's wife looks AMAZING, but then she always has been gorgeous. she wasn't really saying she was a 12 before, though, was she? she looked like a burst sofa (with a beautiful face) in a photo i saw. low twenties in the skirt for sure.

isn't Mica Paris extraordinarily tall and so she could be 13stone and a size 12. I think she looks like she coupld be a big 12 in that photo to be honest. I agree about Ms Feltz though!

No she's saying she's a 12 now, TBH she's lost even more since the interview so she could be a 12 now, but not in the photos I saw.
I don't understand why people like her, who was very beautiful, lose weight and say how much better it is. When they were bigger they are always going on about how happy they are to be curvy.

I think Mrs LLB did Lighter Life which means she'll probably put it back on. She looks amazing now.

ach, i'd say i'm happy in a 14-16 but i bet my ass i'd be even happier in a 10.

Mrs Llewellyn Bowen will put all that weight back on, mark my words. No one can live forever on 500 cals a day.

If LLB's wife keeps that weight off I'll eat my hat (with fries and ketchup and a nice glass of white, thanks).

I cannot believe a well-educated middle-aged woman like her would think to herself "Look, I need to lose some weight. What's the best way to go about it? Oh, I know, I'll reduce my calories to 500 per day."

How could she ever think that was a good idea?

Actually I know 3 people who did that diet. 2 of them have gone back up waaaay higher than before they started.

The other one has kept it off but she is the most focused, determined person I've ever met.
