I cannot bear Bruce Forsyth. I suspect I won't be alone in this on Mumsnet, but he seems to be viewed as some kind of wonderful old trouper by the general population and by the press. I suspect he is a nasty old git.

Sorry ladies - my mum said Val was REALLY rude to the staff - would shout and swear at them all the time and was really mean to the little old ladies who wanted to meet him afterwards. She said he said everything through gritted teeth.
