A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

We cross posted!

😀 good stuff. I’d love her to overtake. I reckon it’s doable given Burnham being a relier on TikTok and SM vibes.

Lab posters on another thread saying oh the fact that Kemi is edging closer means nothing, it’s just one isolated poll. However was a different story when Burnham was having his bounce….

The reaction is amusing. The best part is when the press pick it up as The Times etc have, and just hearing it now on the radio news headlines.

Not just the maligned Telegraph that no one reads of course.

The Telegraph sends certain people into meltdown, while they are faithful to the dreary Guardian. Any link I'm sent directing to the Guardian, I will get the report from a different source.

They get all their material from there to try and burst Kemi's bubble!

I haven’t watched QT for years but just heard a clip with Alistair Campbell referring to the Iraq war. It was good but the surprising and best part was the applause from the QT audience.

I can’t believe he self declares as a ‘national treasure’. Another Labour man full of it.

I believe Alastair Campbell was partly responsible for the death of Dr David Kelly. I believe the poor man suffered a catastrophic depression after the way he had been treated and spoken to at the Select Committee. As a sufferer of depression himself, Alastair Campbell should have considered the immediate and damaging impact the publicity and aggression would have on a mild-mannered private man such as Dr Kelly.

Yes agree. Also I was a bit vague in that post, but the clip shows AC being taken apart. The audience agrees even though it’s Zia Yusuf doing it. Quite surprising for QT.

BooHissScarySeason · Today 13:28

I do partially agree on Kelly, AC has done a lot in the last twenty years highlighting mh and making it more acceptable for tough middle aged guys to talk about, how awful a struggle it is every day.

I suspect at the time AC was close to crisis himself and not really in a position mentally to see where it was going with Kelly, his accounts of alcoholism, psychotic delusions etc during the Blair issues his amazing. His wife must be really tough.

LuckyHazelFox · Today 13:44

Alistair Campbell v Zia Yusuf was a great watch. ZY saying what many people think, including me.
