I think Katie Price might be next in the docks.
She seems hell bent on ruining her exes lives.

I notice none of you experts seem to think that the abuse bpd sufferers experianced is unreasonable, people with bpd didn't choose to have it you know, it's the result of the shitty treatment they have endured.
You carry on like you are victims, it's the people with bpd who are the victims. A lot of trauma is needed to cause it

Being a victim of abuse may be the reason a personality disorder developed, but it is neither justification nor excuse for the choices made. A victim of abuse can also be a perpetrator of abuse, and having a PD does not mean that someone cannot or should not be responsible for the choices they make.

I'm sorry but that's nonsense. If she does indeed have BPD (as diagnosed by non professionals) then she needs to get some help and take accountability for her actions. It's very simple.

Nobody is suggesting that people with BPD choose to have the condition or that the trauma many have experienced is acceptable. However, experiencing trauma does not automatically absolve someone of responsibility for how they subsequently treat others. People with BPD can be victims of abuse, but they can also engage in abusive behaviour.

Yes I know, as I've been abused by people who have also been abused themselves

Ive always thought she was autistic. Probably would have been diagnosed EUPD (or perhaps she has) but we know that its said that many women diagnosed with that may be ASD instead. Its the current theory anyway

It explains a lot of her behaviour but doesnt excuse it, she is horrendous and very male in many ways in terms of how she behaves. Complete disregard for the norms in society, disregard for the laws and other people's feelings and needs, solely nd only focused on herself, complete lack of self awareness, inability to change.

Autistic people do tend to stick to the norms in society (although can find them difficult), obey laws, are capable of great empathy, can have brilliant self awareness and insight into their behaviour, can find change difficult and KP does not present as being autistic.

The traits you describe are more indicative of sociopathy/ psychopathy.

She has talked about having ADHD, which I can believe due to her chaotic lifestyle, but again, most people with ADHD are fantastic people capable of empathy etc.

Why are you using such blanket terms?

People with autism are just as capable of breaking the law as anyone else, not sure wha tyou mean by 'do tend to stick to the norms in society', Ive met plenty of recidivists who are autistic. People are not just one thing, autistic or not. I work within a cohort with a very high percentage of ASD and I see lots of women like her. She may well have ASD or she might not, it doesnt exclude other issues with her either.

And 'most people' in general are fantastic people, capable of empathy, you dont need to preface it with 'with ADHD'.

Its the human condition to be fairly good, we generally are as a species.

It's because people are using autistic traits as a reason/ explanation for her behaviour. Being a shitty person is not caused by either ADHD or autism.

I personally identified that I felt she has a huge presentation of ASD traits, thats my professional view.

She might, she might not, its a chat forum, no more no less

ASD and ADHD can cause someone to be a shitty person, and someone might be a shitty person regardless of whatever condition they may have. Some people who have poor MH are shitty people because of their MH. They might be shitty regardless.

People with BPD/EUPD might be shitty people because of their PD

I dont think anyone on this thread has taken umbrage at the suggestions raised about sufferers of PDs and how we mustnt talk about their condition as being an explanation for their shitty behaviour? Why is it different for ND? (which she may not even have, as I say, its a chat forum where people muse)
