Man has jumped into Tiger enclosure

At Yorkshire wildlife park.Anyone seen the video? I live local to it and the video of the man wagging his finger at it telling it no like a toddler is shocking.Hes lucky he wasnt killed.

Weird when you think humans are perfectly ok with shooting an animal when it feels threatened by a human but not shooting a human when its threatening an animal. Who died and made us in charge?

The police has been confirmed he was seriously injured. The video obviously doesn’t show the whole thing

The tiger wasn't shot, I'm another local. Apparently they shot gas canisters which scares the tiger away. Their are reports saying the man was seriously injured, I believe the video wasn't the full incident. People who were there are saying him and his mate were shouting at the tigers trying to antagonise them and he then climbed in. Some tried to stop him, it's not an easy enclosure to get into

I’ve seen so much conflicting stuff online. He’s dead. Tigers dead. A female zookeeper is dead. Pure chinese whispers being spread.

The article I read said it’s unknown whether the tiger was killed. I really hope it wasn’t.

I hope the tiger hasn't been killed and that the man gets the help he obviously needs, assuming he has mental health issues (if not and this was an act of bravado, I have no sympathy for him).

The fact he got out of there alive means the tiger was remarkably restrained in the circumstances.

YWP is excellent and it sounds as though the staff were well trained to deal with the incident.

There wouldn’t be reports of a black tarpaulin in the enclosure if something wasn’t dead in there…and I doubt they’ve just left that numpty unfortunately. So obviously they have killed the tiger

It’s on Sky news just now, saying he’s died.

i’m surprised he wasn’t hurt but at least he endangered himself as opposed to chucking a kid in.
