Why is Nigella Lawson so beautiful?

I've got such a girl crush on her, and I always have had. She's a bit mad and posh (in the best way). I love her writing and her recipes, and have been brining my Christmas turkey since she first suggested it - it is always delicious. Didn't like her dad much but presumably she did. To me that woman can do no wrong - she's the best thing to have happened to GBBO in a while. I love that she and AH get to hang out. But she is EXTRAORDINARILY beautiful. She makes my world a better place.

I think Big Suze from Peep Show must have been based on Nigella, she has a very beautiful face, with large well proportioned features and lovely teeth.

She seems a lovely person but the way she shovels down food on Bake Off revolts me.

I agree, I think she's lovely and she comes across as being good fun and down to earth. DH fancies her but I don't mind at all because he says she reminds him of me! (I don't look anything like her, if only I did!).

I like that she’s unapologetically clever, too. Uses big, poetic words - no dumbing down for her. Her recipes are also all really great and work. Hats off to her.

A friend of mine calls her hypersexual, which I don't agree with; I think it's more true to say that she's camp and knowing about her sexuality. She is highly attractive though.
I haven't watched her on TV much until the Bake Off as I do find her TV persona a bit silly, trying to make her really sexy. She always seems self-conscious to me doing the to-camera stuff too.
I've loved her books since How to Eat, though, and happily read them just for fun. She's such a fluent, witty, erudite writer, but down to earth and transparent too (when a recipe is designed for something like a dinner where you really want to impress, and will be fiddly, and will take you hours, she says so).
I am enjoying her on the Bake Off; her criticism is incisive, sympathetic and constructive, and I like her light teasing of Paul. I think he loves it too
I do like to think of her and Alison going for an espresso martini after filming's finished, and just cackling together and having a blast.

I find her very pleasing to look at but really enjoy how amusing she is. I love how she always finds something charming to say about the bakes that make them sound glamorous and special. I also love that she doesn't mind being a bit of a clever clog and showing off her language skills ("Obrigada!") or womansplaining "foreign" cakes ("Schlag is Austrian for whipped cream") to a bemused looking Paul. It's also nice seeing a woman heartily tucking into food and appearing to enjoy it.

Yes, she is stunning, and also looks about 15-18 years younger than her age. (Which hardly anyone does, most people look 5-7 years younger at the most!)

I find her boring and odd, what she says is just banal most of the time, her voice really grates on me and she looks like someone who's had bucketloads of plastic surgery to the point where she could be an android.

I think she slurs her speech a lot, has she previously had a stroke or something? She also isn’t as genuine as people make out. She was particularly snobby towards Shannon this year and visibly seemed to grimace when she spoke.

It comes from being confident, relaxed and drinking red wine (sparingly) and eating butter.
Her persona is how she wishes it to be.

I love her and think she's beautiful but it really annoys me when celebs lie about having had very obvious cosmetic procedures. We KNOW you've had fillers and botox because we have eyes so why lie about it?- it just makes you look like a twit.

No shade either, I get botox but if I was a celeb and someone asked me I'd make a joke out of it- eg "yes, I love botox, the less my forehead moves the better!" or something. Putting her appearance down to avoiding the sun and "butter" is just pathetic
