Why is Nigella Lawson so beautiful?

I've got such a girl crush on her, and I always have had. She's a bit mad and posh (in the best way). I love her writing and her recipes, and have been brining my Christmas turkey since she first suggested it - it is always delicious. Didn't like her dad much but presumably she did. To me that woman can do no wrong - she's the best thing to have happened to GBBO in a while. I love that she and AH get to hang out. But she is EXTRAORDINARILY beautiful. She makes my world a better place.

She is very stylish too. She looks a lot like her mother and I guess that influenced her. Money too of course

I grant you she is phenomenally photogenic and I prefer her on GBBO to her previous offerings!

I don't think she's attractive at all. There's something wrong with her mouth and I'd never find someone attractive who thinks so highly of themselves

I like her because she knows how to work that camera but her cake eating is a bit uncouth. I’ve had to look away a few times already.

She’s very beautiful but I remember her appearing at court for her divorce from Saatchi - she had tweakements I think. Really good, light touch work. Either way, her skin is amazing and that really helps with an overall look. I’d love to look like her.

ETA I actually don’t think she is beautiful in the true sense. Extremely attractive, with a strong face. Much more fun than pure ‘beauty’!

I agree, she’s beautiful. My husband can sometimes be found sheepishly watching an old episode of her cooking show, and I say “mecro wah vay” to mock him.

I really like her. I think she comes across very warm and authentic. Despite growing up with a lot of wealth and privilege, she just seems down to earth, and I admired her honesty around the cocaine scandal and the abuse she faced in her relationship. I think she's an icon tbh.

looked very similar so I clearly have a particular look I admire.

Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I feel like my life is a complete and utter waste and that I have nothing going for me at all. Then I come to read an OP like this and suddenly I feel better about myself and my place is in this world.

Back in 2013 a PR person called Richard Hillgrove composed a round robin email defending Charles Saatchi and sent it to numerous people in the media.

It alleges that Nigella was a drug addict and that in the supposed photos of him assaulting her, he was actually "examining Nigella Lawson's nostrils for cocaine and holding her throat to assist her focus and regain attention after she made more than one trip to the toilets away from the table outside Scott's where they were both sitting for a cigarette".

I actually kind of love that there’s still someone who regards this as a cutting, clever comment.

I’ve seen her at very close quarters and on that occasion she was absolutely minging. Filthy hair and nails, grey skin, yesterday’s makeup, bad breath etc. Beautiful yes but…

I haven’t seen any of her previous TV work, so GBBO is the first I’ve come across her and I‘m not sure I agree.
way too much plastic surgery, her face doesn’t smile when she does… also finding the eating very off putting and the accent is just weird.
She comes across as a nice person, but I definitely don’t get the obsession many seem to have with her.

I think she’s incredibly charismatic and I feel certain we would be best friends instantly, if ever we met.
