No agenda and no judgement, as in the title how long would it take you to drink half a bottle of white wine? One that you like.

I've had about that much in the fridge since last summer. So a long time.

Anywhere between 10 mins and throwing it down the drain 3 weeks later…

Being Mumsnet the only correct answer is 10 years; measured in thimbles.

It must be rancid by then!

These day, probably three days - a small glass each evening.

A year? I don’t drink it by the glass but tend to use alcohol in cooking occasionally, so I might open a bottle of something and bung it in the utility fridge door and then completely forget about it for several months. DH doesn’t drink either.

About six months because I cook with it now and again and don’t drink it.
Hoping the no judgement still holds with this honest reply.

About an hour , a glass of red wine however can last several hours, I do like red wine but always drink it much more slowly

I’d be unlikely to have this much in an evening if at home - more likely if on a night out. So maybe seven or eight days if I had a quarter bottle each weekend over two consecutive weekends. It could be up to a month depending on how busy I was and whether or not I felt like a drink.

I guess my question would be: are you worried it's too quick (for whatever reason), or just curious to see if others drink at the same rate?

Not long enough, and that's why I only (and rarely) drink wine if I am eating.

I add ice so maybe 30 mins.

I am a beer drinker too so can forget myself at times and swamp a glass!

I used to club with a friend, and we would nail a bottle of Merlot between 2 whilst waiting for the cab to take us there.

I had half a bottle this evening- first glass halfway through strictly and just finished the second and now of to bed.

on a night out probably an hour and a half!
