How long would it take you to drink half a bottle of white wine?

No agenda and no judgement, as in the title how long would it take you to drink half a bottle of white wine? One that you like.

We just finished a bottle of nice white wine in an hour watching an episode of what we love and was thinking it felt fast and was just wondering what other people did. It’s been a stressful week at work and was just wondering.

2 days as I only drink one glass when I have wine.

For full disclosure I can drink much more than this was just wondering about the speed ratio!

Couple of hours tonight. Previous one took a week or so. It depends.

About 30 minutes so far...

Shit week including possibly breaking off my engagement, first drink since August...

Maybe 1-2 weeks

With my meal if it was particularly gorgeous, however long that took! Although if I’m honest 2 glasses is my limit before I’m seriously drunk.

Less than half an hour if I put my mind to it. An hour if I'm distracted by reading or watching tv. Depends what it is, too, I'm fond of a Sauvignon Blanc, and it tends to go down much quicker than a Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio.

I think its fine if its not an everyday thing, l would probably open another bottle now..

Depends. If I’ve had anything else. Where I am and who I’m with.

Half hour max, that’s why I don’t drink.

I don’t drink but when I did it would take a couple of hours. I watered white wine down with sparkling water.

Depends. It could be an hour or a week. Maybe longer.

1-2 hours depending which friends I’m with!

Ages, because I only drink wine with food and prefer red.
I have a bottle of Taittinger champagne in my fridge that has been there since 2022 (Christmas).

I had my first glass at 7.45 and by the time I’ve finished the glass I’ll have had half a bottle so maybe 9.45? But I have definitely done it in an hour before.

since menopause one of those mini bottles of red wine (think they’re about 200ml) lasts me all night! a few years ago i could’ve drunk half a bottle in a couple of hours.
