Literally couldn’t name one. I don’t even look at user names.

@SoMuchToBits nowadays when you want to tag someone as I have you just now, you type an ampersand and start typing and the website produces a dropdown so you can tag the poster. We used to just bold their name back in the day so we had to type the whole thing out, now you just need to eyeball the first couple of letters to tag someone.

I miss Anyfucker too - she was so straight forward and to the point - does anyone know what happened to her?

@QuimReaper yes, I know how to do that, but didn't realise that was the same thing as autofill! I'm really not very tech savvy, sorry!

I think AF still lurks, and pops up from time to time.

The internet has evolved so much, I think few people spend as much time in one place as they used to 15ish years ago. I know I read more than I post nowadays

I don't think she is. She used to confidently post incorrect advice on the Work and Legal matters boards, and would try to shout down those offering correct advice. I think I would recognise her style. It has been years since I've seen her.

She admitted having a second home during Covid and her star fell.

I never understood why she was popular. People said she was so straightforward and helpful but all I ever saw was her haranguing women who had just received shocking news about their relationships and hadn't thrown him out and cut up his suits within thirty seconds. She also couldn't accept her young adult children's sexuality and thought she could dictate what consensual, legal activity they got up to in their own bedrooms with long term monogamous partners.

I have been on here since having my pfb many years ago. The only posters I recognise are on long running threads. I have changed names multiple times. So no one sticks out anymore.

I was gutted and still am to have lost polkadotsandmoonbeams from our threads a couple of years back. They were very knowledgeable on dance, friendly, and used to start our Strictly threads <waves to eine who took over and continues to do a sterling job.>
But I often wonder where polka went/if something happened to them. I guess we'd never know.

Yes I never got the love for this poster (AF) either. As has been said, it's all subjective.

Xenia! She was so entertaining with her " I went back to work 30 minutes after giving birth" and " I closed a deal for my client while watching my son win a race at Sports Day". 😀

Yes, but they are usually the goady whatsits, the oddballs, and the occasional one who posts two near identical drama threads a couple of months apart under two different usernames, not realising that some posters have long memories!

In general I love this site for the willingness of people to reach out to each other at any time of the day or night with advice/support/handholds etc so in that respect I would miss the majority of posters if they disappeared (not the arseholes obviously, but helpfully they usually show themselves as such and can therefore be avoided)

I will forever revere and miss LangCleg!
