Which poster would you be gutted to see disappear from Mumsnet?

You know the ones. You see their username and think, excellent, they’re here.

Who are your Mumsnet favourites? No smooching required, just appreciation. 😏

I name change so often that I can't even remember my own current one sometimes! I prefer it that way so no one is going to vote for me ha ha.

I rarely if ever look at a username TBH, only if I am tagging or they really resonate with me, then I look out for them again, but they must regularly name change aswell or leave the site as I can never find them!

So the answer is no one really, although lots of posts are brilliant.

I was coming on to say MrsTerryPratchett, I see a couple of posters agree.
I've always thought she was wise and someone you could go to for advice.

The only posters I remember the names of nowadays are the ones in the weightloss injections/treatments board or the long running thread I am on, where I mostly hang about.

So many lovely and supportive people in the same place finally getting the treatment they need and supporting each other.

Its not against the rules.
But for those that have been here many years it is reminisant of the moldies, mumsnet royalty, the reddit group and various 'gates' that have happened over the years.

It also tends to descend in to people saying who they like and others coming on and slating the choices.

Sorry I wasn't around then and genuinely haven't seen a thread like this. Hopefully it doesn't descend into chaos and upset anyone 🙏

Posts like this no longer work, we all name change on a regular basis and it’s so much busier so you don’t tend to notice the ‘regulars’.

Without going into too much depth

Various posters were banned (either perminantly or rumored to be perminant) and groups of posters changed their names to variations of that persons user name. to get them re instated.

Does anyone else read a post and think this has to be so and so under a name change? Like you recognise their style of writing?

I don’t really read usernames and can’t say I’ve noticed repeating posters that I ‘like’. Certainly no one i would notice had stopped posting. There are perhaps a couple of names that I remember from 15 years ago that have disappeared but they maybe here under different names for all I know.

It always astonishes me when someone on a thread comments 'You've posted about this before, haven't you?'. Or brings up a whole load of info from the OP's previous threads. I don't have a clue.
