A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I saw something about the party taking a vote on whether Zionism is racism. Polanski won't be voting as he's on his campaign trail; what convenient timing. I can answer the vile party right now: no Zionism never was and never will be racism. Antisemitism, on the other hand ... now I wonder who exactly is pulling Polanski's strings. Hmm. As for Hannah Spencer, she called Reform trash, I'm going to wait and see how she votes. How dare they put Jews through this.

Yes ZP is busy washing his hair. Funny that.

I really hope they implode soon. I've read that they have a safe room for jews at conference. WTAF? Sickening.

I don’t understand why we in the UK aren’t more assertively behind the young people in Iran asking for freedom.

The fact that the present rulers overthrew a monarchy and an ancien regime was enough for the left and more than makes up for whatever the present gang of murderers does.

That’s interesting. I hadn’t considered that angle.

I thought it was some sort of weird fellow travellers in supporting Hamas and antisemitism maybe.

I read about the safe room. Why would any jew support this party

Democracy and human rights don’t matter when you’re fixated on how wicked capitalism is.

Another good insight. It certainly helps understand hoe are these weird stances fit together. Helps explain Ed Miliband too. Didn’t his dad have some very extreme communist ideas?

Thank you all for your lovely comments. It seems unbelievable that this type of barbaric behaviour is still going on in today’s world, terrible state of affairs.

Kemi was fab this morning on LK, free child care for higher earners! Keeping the triple lock, growing the economy, yep and stopping benefit cheats. 4/6 hours working is not enough. Disability payments need reducing. Totally agree with everything she said. Just concerned that she will have a long way to go to win back ex tories.

Idk, or women for that matter.
Some posters on here constantly condemn 'the far right', yet also describe the greens as full of hope.

Sounds great 👍
I'll try and watch it later as I missed it this morning. She just needs to keep going. Hopefully common sense will prevail at the next election.

The Greens passed the vote, it’s now party policy.

I knew they would. So gloves are off when their voters next try to take the moral high ground with race.

Green members also voted down two amendments to the motion, including one which would have watered down the language on the establishment of a single democratic Palestinian state.

An amendment to the motion designed to protect Jewish Greens who attend venues that identify as “Zionist”, such as synagogues or community centres, from disciplinary proceedings for racism was also rejected, with more than 1,000 members voting against it. This means Jewish members of the party will risk being reported to the party for racism if they attend these venues.

Polanski the puppet. Staying away so he's absolved from the motion. It's so transparent. What a vile bunch of antisemites.

SersioulycanitgetWORSE · 04/10/2026 16:42

Ive just been reading that words mother and father have been banned at the green conferences and women talking about pelvis issues have been stormed by trans activists ( top table with Zac ) whilst they were trying to discuss how sanitary wear and plastics can't be recycled !
The innocence of these women discussing female issues and how they can impact the environment and trying to defend the link to the "green party ".
Oh how far the green party has come.

Does he even realise what he's done?

Good news that this has opened your DC's eyes @Nuthatch26 . A lot of their policies are surface-level appealing in a left-wjng way until you actually think about the consequences - so I can understand young people being drawn to it.

But this policy is so horrific. The fact they didn't even put in amendments allowing Jewish people to attend synagogues without censure makes my blood run cold.

How can this have passed, in a party which a few months ago polled at 20% ? I desperately hope the current slide continues.

I ache to tell British Jews that most of us don't think this way.

Sarahconnor1 · 04/10/2026 16:51

Polanski is an absolute coward who has no control over the party he is supposed to lead.

It's good to have most of the nuts in one party. Now if we could only get Wallace net zero to join.

Polanskis odds for the by election took a significant hit after that vote.

I wonder of he will be ousted soon
