Theres probably a few other youtubers that are just as or slightly popular/well liked and recognised globally but I know mr beast is the top of the chain to a lot of people...

What does this size of India have to the with Buddhism?!

Only from a British perspective - even Europeans aren't familiar with most of these people.

Henry viii is known due to the break with Rome but honestly the rest aren't "famous" outside of the UK.

Everyone knows who Jesus is. Most people in the West know of Hitler. But you go to Asia and not quite the same story.

The history taught in each country is very nationalistic for the most part.

Ya, there are Christian Asians and of course muslims believe in jesus too as a prophet and as the messiah....they believe in the miracle birth of virgin Mary too!!!

Is or was Jesus a reality? Or fictional as so many others in the bible, Noah, Moses etc

So true. He was brilliant 👏 and I dont believe he was a slimeball some people say he was. I really hope he wasnt. I hope he also died with believing in God.

Noah and moses peace be with them aren't fictional but real men who came with the message to worship one God. And of course with the ten commandments!!!! Your choice to believe or not, dear friend.

This list should be for infamous as well as Hitler is infamous for being a real pig. Just like Ben stinking netanyahu.

I remember learning that the face of Daniel Radcliffe (as Harry Potter) was more globally recognised than QE2 although that was around twenty years ago.

I have no idea what Mr. Beast looks like or anything about him??

Princess Diana and George Michael…they also looked similar!

In human history? I suppose we have to take account of the fact that there are far more people on the planet now than at any previous time in history, and until relatively recent centuries, many populations were completely unaware of other parts of the world.

Jesus would be pretty high up on that list, whether one believes in Christ or not.

Also well up there would be the Beatles.

At the top I suspect it would be QE2, partly because her image has appeared on GB & Commonwealth stamps for so many decades. British stamps are the only ones which do not have the country's name on them. They have only ever had the image of the reigning Monarch. Those stamps would have made their way to every corner of every country of the world.

Buddha was born a Hindu. Like Jesus was born a Jew…. In India…

he is also considered one form of Vishnu in Hinduism so way over a billion Hindus in India will know him.

Yes.

Oh dear. Really??!

Jesus Christ

Elvis is what I’d say too

My first thought was Hitler, followed by Pythagerous (Greek mathematician)

Reading the thread I'm thinking its a toss between Jesus & pytharous.

Atkinson as Mr Bean
