Is it horrible to make ds walk

Am I horrible making ds walk for 40 mins to and from school because I want to avoid the bus?

It's great that you're finally getting the help you need, and I hope it's not too long a process.

In the meantime, what if something happens this week? What if one day it's torrential rain with thunder and lightning over the school run? What if DS breaks his ankle and is well enough to go to school on crutches but obviously not up to walking 40 minutes each way? What's your contingency plan?
