Im sure they'll be lots of judgement on here as always but here we go

I really wish I hadn't married my 1st husband. He was a loser and still is.
I find 99% of kids so dull

I think most men, genetically, are inferior to women. Not all. Some blokes are our equals, but 80-85%.

Same as I think the majority of white people are racist to some degree. Lower % than inferior men, but probably 50-60% of white people = racist.

Despite having been married myself, I think marriage is akin to legal prostitution. A bit less so these days when women aren't specifically marrying for security.

Being a SAHM is a stupid choice, given that most men can't be relied upon. Bad, bad choice.

I have a LOT more offensive opinions but these are my immediate thoughts.

I don't find any of these offensive. I agree with you.

Sorry I was supposed to quote @6ate9 there.

Having to stay alive (when you don’t want to) because other people want you to live is selfish of them.

(I’m saying things that I wouldn’t say in real life too.)

Dontlletmedownbruce · Today 10:10

@SouthLondonMum22 i agree with you. But even if it was introduced in principle the consequences of a conviction would be so extreme that it would lead to a higher burden of proof and ultimately lead to less convictions. Less justice for victims and more dangerous people in society. While I don't agree with your view @OhFFS26i think it's a fair point to debate and shouldn't be always shut down without some consideration or analysis.

Ahhhh so killing yourself knowing your kids would end up in care isn’t selfish? Because that’s what would happen to mine and it would be more than selfish of me to do.

Killing yourself knowing your wife will have to deal with all of your debt that she didn’t even know about isn’t selfish?

Killing yourself because your wife left you isn’t the most emotionally manipulative thing a man can do (and not uncommon)?

Got it!

Many of the worlds MH issues are caused by capitalism.

Actually, maybe just, many of the world's issues are called by capitalism.

I would highly recommend a book called "How to be Free" by Tom Hodgkinson to all.

My sil didn’t have children and she committed suicide years ago. .
She was always a selfish one , but she also had a lot of other demons and problems and it all got too much for her , but it was sad she couldn’t reach out to anyone and died like she did.
I do miss her, but it must be so hard if it’s your mum leaving children behind and the professionals say it’s harder to accept. I do think about her , but she kept her distance from everyone in life at all times and I hope she’s now at peace.💐💐to those who have to endure the pain each day , it must be hard.

What happened to you and your siblings was terrible and I think you are right to be very angry. I have a friend in a similar situation (suicide of mother while her grandkids were toddlers) and she was also very angry. It's still a shadow over her life, but not a complete shadow. It comes and goes and it is diminishing as time passes. I hope the same happens for you.

Thank you.

I still love her. She was my best friend. I just hate her for what she did. It really is a conflicting feeling that tears me apart on the inside.

I had made my peace with it and it reared its head only on special occasions such as my wedding but once I had a child I felt it come back in a way I’d never experienced before. You can’t talk to anyone out loud about it though because they don’t understand.

It does feel embarrassing to say out loud 😂

Everyone thinks my mother is lovely. She is not. She's all about herself, is mean about others behind their backs and has no maternal instincts. Why she had 4 kids i will never know.

Old people should downsize to suitable housing.

My neighbour ia 80 something and moans constantly. The weather - too hot, too cold, no one to talk to, no one visits, trades men don't show up the list is endless. Yet she does nothing to change it. We live where there are many, many clubs for elderly people. I juat can't imagine being 80 something and disliking my life without doing something about it.

Sometimes living with a husband with autism, adhd, tourettes, ocd and ptsd is hard.

I wish someone would be my cheerleader in the same way I am for others.

I have no confidence in myself or my abilities. See point one.

People with dementia should be given the right to choose to die when first diagnosed. It's the cruellest illness. They should be allowed to specify -when i can no longer eat/speak/walk/whatever their personal limit is - I no longer want to live.

When I ride my bicycle, I like to pretend I’m riding a horse. I have a whole cross country course on my commute to work with different speed bumps as jumps and sometimes I score myself for the approach. As I run through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel pushing the bicycle, I’m competing in the in-hand section of the gaited pony show.
It passes the time.

I do that on the train sometimes, as we pass hedges I pretend I’m jumping them!

I have an invisible horse that runs alongside the train and jumps over hedges and rivers. Sometimes she's an enormous grey mare, but usually she's Shantih from the 'Jinny at Finmory' books.

That people who have multiple children with small age gaps often don’t meet the emotional needs of those children. It’s like achieving an arbitrary number of children without thinking if you have capacity to nurture them all to a good standard.

And that having siblings isn’t automatically better than not if it means your parents are overstimulated and parenting badly as a result.

I hate being female and wish I was male.

And I don't mean that in a trans way. I'm just fairly certain my life would have been much more enjoyable had I been born male.

While my DH wraps my birthday and Christmas presents, I like to be in the room, so I can hear him wrapping stuff, knowing that it’s all for me. (I can’t see what I’m going to get, though, because I’m blindfolded. Grin) We love this ritual.

Did you admit this before, on another thread a few months ago? I remember someone saying this and laughing to myself. It's so cute.

Rafiel · Today 10:23

I want to leave my husband but I can't bring myself to disrupt my children's stability.

I think SAHMs are letting the side down - earn your own money, be independent and do something with your life!

You don't disagree with private school, you just can't afford it and/or don't realise how much better it is.

Sorry I disagree. Having kids means you have to do loads of things you don’t want to do just because your kids you to. Purposely staying alive is the bare minimum you can do for them imo

I’m so tired I don’t care about anything I used to any more. I’d give anything for a month off.

I would like harsh on the spot penalties for anti social behaviour. Including things that aren’t even classed as that yet, like having tiktok on your phone without headphones on a train. Over loud car stereos. Cars that pop and bang for no reason. Cars and motorbikes that idle for ages before going anywhere.

i would like residential areas to be zoned as I don’t want to live near loud people. I am sick of blokes shouting, smoking weed, pacing up and down outside my house bellowing into their phones, bellowing across the road to people instead of crossing the road to talk to them.

Fortheloveofgodwhy · Today 10:24

I find my friend who 'came out' as bi-sexual at 50+ (yet still happily married to her husband) extremely dull and annoying now. No one cares who you fantasise about in bed Debbie... and the performative rainbow tops and LGBTQ+ spiels are unnecessary

Nursery graduations are really weird. It's not an achievement for a 4 year old to get through nursery. Graduations are for when you've worked hard and it's fine if not everyone has one when they're older.

University isn't the right choice for everyone and it doesn't make anyone's life path less worthwhile to have followed a less academic route. In fact, university is completely the wrong choice for someone who struggles with the work and then finds themselves unable to get meaningful work afterwards. But we're made to believe it's the only path. Barriers should absolutely be removed so that people with the potential can go to uni (from all walks of life) - that's different. But assuming that everyone does have the same opportunities (which I know isn't yet the case), pushing everyone to go to uni and them struggling during and afterwards is really doing them a disservice.

Perhaps you should have posted this as its own post instead of your original post criticising another posters lived experience then because it looks like you’re trying to argue with her.
