Im sure they'll be lots of judgement on here as always but here we go

I really wish I hadn't married my 1st husband. He was a loser and still is.
I find 99% of kids so dull

I wish I didn't have such an offensive opinion.

I think children are the meaning of life and I feel incredibly sorry for those who don't feel that warmth, love and nurture for children.

I also feel that although the earth is overpopulated, I don't see the point if you don't have kids.

I feel that having children, who have children, who have children, that part of me will stay alive through them once I am gone.

Most of my friends don't want kids

Don't see the point if don't have kids?
That is strange.

I don’t think Islam aligns well with Western values, especially when it comes to woman and girls. We pander to it far too much in the UK.

If that makes me “Islamophobic”, then colour me guilty.

Strangely enough, the exact same thing happened to me. I've been quite bitter in the past about how he used me in a multitude of ways, because he was too much of a coward to live the one life that we all get, honestly and freely. We were together for 7 years. I think there should be some sort of law regarding doing this to someone. I know that there won't ever be but it's completely immoral. I don't know whether to be open with the children about it. It's an awful position to be in.
Anyway, love to you ❤️

And these stories and the trauma they cause women is then actually made worse by the himpathy directed at the man who lied, cheated and hid his true nature to steal a woman's fertility and best years. And then everyone also has to endure lectures from women (who either dumb as a bag of hammers or just total misogynists) who pretend to believe he just didn't know what he was doing, poor man.

I give zero fucks if they are gay, I give a lot of fucks they lied about it, and I give zero fucks about the happiness or lives of the men who do this. They use the women they latch onto, they are parasites and they deserve nothing but contempt

I am willing to share my excess poundage with you.

To be fair, everyone with a brain, compassion, empathy, the ability to think logically thinks this. Few dare to say it because you can get murdered for saying it out loud.

They're trying to start a fatwa on John Cleese right now. True story.

@Happyjoe my whole life has been built up to having kids. I just get so much joy from making them happy. I can't understand what you build your life up to and for without them. It would feel self indulgent and empty to me. I also know lots of happy childfree people. But I can't understand the mindset

I think I’d be Jacking up 💉 never mind skinning up 🚬!!

How odd that you are so low in empathy and yet love kids. I have kids and adore them, they were my total life for their whole young lives and are still massively important in my life as young adults.

But I am capable of theory of mind and have empathy and therefore able to see other people's point of view.

It's good you generally keep this to yourself, it does make you sound really weird.

Notagoodthing · 11/08/2026 23:24

That my beloved dp is a bad driver. Not very aggressive at least, but he doesn’t look very far ahead so ends up braking sharply or switching lanes dangerously at the last second, over and over again, for things I saw coming seconds earlier. He also tailgates really close. I hate being driven by him and spend most of the time with my eyes closed looking out of the passenger window. I won’t ever tell him.

That my husband had a small penis and it didn’t help our sex life.

That after being married to him I never again got romantically involved without having a good test run of the penis first.

That ‘polyamory’ is a special way of making having an affair duller than going to Tesco. At least people used NOT to tell you the boring details about the affairs they were having.

That I go to sleep every night fantasising about a married man I had sex with a decade ago. And that I’ve stalked him to the point of buying his brother’s books on eBay and making fake accounts on Linked In.

That I tried to kill someone.

So childless people are self-indulgent and empty? That's very honest of you!
There's many reasons why people don't or can't have children and I honestly feel sorry for you that you think the only worthwhile purpose in life is to breed.

Nerdynerdynerd · 11/08/2026 23:27

That i have the best marriage out of everyone i know. Everyone else's husband is a bit shit. Not abusive just a bit useless. My husband is great and I feel smug that I chose well. Everyone says I'm "so lucky" but I just didn't pick an ineffective idiot. I'd never say any of this as I'd offend all my married friends.

TheDenimPoet · 11/08/2026 23:27

I wish I'd never gone out with my DP. I love him, I love our life, but I'm compromising on some long term things I saw happening in my life.

I wouldn't leave him NOW, but I wish I hadn't chosen to make those compromises, as I wasn't in love with him at that point.

Bedford really is shit!!

Can’t say that aloud in real life because a good friend of mine is the founder of the campaign “Bedford isn’t shit!”

But it is. It’s fucking awful. It was bad growing up there in the 80s and 90s. It has steadily got worse and every time I have the misfortune to go there I am grateful we moved away when the DCs were small.

I absolutely agree with you….its honestly the only place I have wiped my feet on the way out if a pub !!! And I drank in some dodgy boozers as a teen !! X

I am so sorry, it's just awful isn't it. My kids are too young to understand, but I cannot wait for them to be old enough to understand what a twat their Dad is, tricking me into a life the shagging random men he met online till he figured himself out. I am so resentful that my STBEXH wasn't brave enough to live his true life so dragged me into it. He now gets to live as his true self and I'm just stuck as a single parent

When I ride my bicycle, I like to pretend I’m riding a horse. I have a whole cross country course on my commute to work with different speed bumps as jumps and sometimes I score myself for the approach. As I run through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel pushing the bicycle, I’m competing in the in-hand section of the gaited pony show.

It passes the time.

Edited

Love this but stay safe you daydreamer! I hope your bike horse has a cool name.
As a kid I used to daydream on my bike so much I often ran into parked cars! No helmets or many cars in those days 🤣

I feel similarly. I have a very elderly friend- she was my mum’s friend. Lovely lady but is getting so old and it’s very hard to have a conversation with her as she’s so hard of hearing and cognition is getting worse. I always try to take DH or one of the DCs with me when I visit as it takes the intensity out of it.

I'm the same. Whenever I used to visit DF in care home I took someone with me 🤷🏼‍♀️

BensonAndStabler · 11/08/2026 23:31

That I'm aware I definitely haven't lived up to my potential.

I was a quintessential overachiever at school - found it easy, loved all my subjects, got straight A's. Got to uni and discovered too late that I didn't really know how to study and ended up with a rubbish degree. I still got offered a good job in my industry but, being 21, I didn't take it as I wanted to go travelling.

Ended up falling in to a career which is still fulfilling, but nowhere near as interesting or well remunerated as my original industry and doesn't require as many qualifications. I'm pretty sure I'm a disappointment to my parents.

You may be stuck as a single parent but thank goodness they have you. Take pride that you're a much better person for them to be with.

OhFFS26 · 11/08/2026 23:34

I am definitely in favour of the death penalty for child rapists, anyone found with child rape material etc. What I generally don't say out loud is that if you say you're not, I assume you're either a monster or covering for one.

I absolutely believe, 100%, that the only correct, human response to finding out someone is a child rapist is wanting them dead. If you don't instantly feel that, I don't trust you at all and people who claim that's inhuman have something really wrong with them.

And people who pretend killing a monster is the same as being a monster are to be avoided generally as they lack compassion and empathy and humanity. The human, kind, compassionate and empathetic thing is to remove the beasts from the flock, they should be exterminated just like we would a rabid dog in a flock of sheep.

Those two gay men who purchased a child and raped the poor wee innocent to death - no way should they still be allowed to steal money from taxpayers or breath in and out.

I finally realised a few years ago that people really do show you who they are all the time and there's only one reason anyone argues against the death penalty for child rapists and that's that they think they might be capable of monstrous things, or already have done monstrous things, or they're covering for someone who does.

Or they just don't care, at all, about the victims. No shred of compassion at all.

Here come the "but wadabout de innocents condemend to defffff!!!" claims. There are almost none. Nearly every person in prison is there for a reason, and people are not jailed for horrific crimes based on no evidence - no matter what Hollywood and your FB group has taught you. Millions, however, are harmed and murdered by child rapists. So it's a simple equation, putting down the rabid monsters saves far, far, far more people than it ever harms, and that's that.

I wouldn't say that out loud though because I wouldn't want to draw the attention of the sort of person who'd argue with my points. Those people really, really creep me out.

Datgal · 11/08/2026 23:35

I sometimes pretend I'm a police officer when I'm driving and fantasise about pulling all the dickhead drivers over... makes me feel better 😁

There is a road I drive down every week and every single time without fail, I just imagine to myself 'i wonder what would happen if I just sharply turn the wheel and didn't brake'... straight into a wall.

I think all racists have a mental illness as I truly just don't get it.

I think every night of my partner passing away and how horrible it would be (I think a lot at night).
