Actors, sports people, celebrities who you get muddled up or just can't differentiate between.

Prompted because I have just 3 minutes ago realised the the actors Katherine Parkinson and Kerry Godliman are not the same person.

Also, Suranne Jones and Keeley Hawes.

Slightly off-topic (as in not people) but all James Bond films.

This used to confuse me so much. I do know the difference now, though.

Most of you are acknowledging you actually know who they are but just get mixed up, or that they look alike - but I genuinely only found out recently that Trevor Nelson isn't DJ Spoony! Spoony seems to often cover Trevor's show (as I've now realised) so I've heard both names on the radio in that time slot and thought that was Trevor's DJ alter ego.

Bradley Walsh’s son, is he called Barney? And Roman Kemp.

and whilst not famous this one always makes me giggle that there are 2 teachers at my children’s school that so many people think are the same person. Even some of the kids get confused let alone some parents (DH I’m looking at you). Thankfully one has gone on maternity leave this summer so that should reduce the confusion for a while! 😂

Richard Ayoade and Ben Whinshaw. I annoy DH by telling him Q is on whenever Richard appears.

ETA: I genuinely thought they were the same person and was saying to DH how weird I found it that RA played such a serious role as Q. DH was confused and amused and had to show me cast lists and photos before I conceded that they were different people.

My dad genuinely thought Lenny Rush in Am I Being Unreasonable was the same person as Warwick Davis. Despite a 40 year age difference.

Confusing Hannah and Nesbitt isn't ridiculous. I think they look alike.
Keeley Hawes/Suranne Jones – I don't get confused about them myself but can see why people do. They both have (or often have) longish dark hair and quite thin faces, and I think they have a similarly quite intense air about them.

I grew up very confused as my Dad's two favourite actors were called Donald (Sutherland and Pleasance). Still have to sometimes think for a moment which one's which!
