People who in your head are the same person (when they are not)

Actors, sports people, celebrities who you get muddled up or just can't differentiate between.

Prompted because I have just 3 minutes ago realised the the actors Katherine Parkinson and Kerry Godliman are not the same person.

Also, Suranne Jones and Keeley Hawes.

Throw in Margot Robbie to that lot as well.

Alex Salmond and the Dad Eric in Two Doors Down (actor Alex Norton).

Also from the same show Cathy (Doon Mackichan) and Daniela Nardini who played Anna in This Life

Also confuse Sarah Parish with Daniela Nardini.

It took me years to realise they are not the same person. Ridiculous as Hannah is Scottish and Nesbitt is from Northern Ireland.

But I’m really struggling to understand the Keeley Hawes/Suranne Jones confusion. They are both very visually striking and beautiful, with distinctive voices and are so different. How are people (and not just one apparently) mixing them up???

For me the Keeley/Suzanne thing is that they are both around the same age, similar accents, both brunette, both famous but not A-list like Taylor Swift or Helen Mirren, both appear in similar style dramas.

Like Katherine Parkinson and Kerry Godliman.

I struggle to tell them apart - thrown in Keira Knightly as well.

Matt Damon and Leonardo diCaprio. Not in their younger days but now I cant tell them apart at all. I watched the whole of Stillwater thinking it was LDC,and even when DH told me it was MD I wouldn't believe him.

Look alike and some name overlap: Jemma Coleman, Lily James and Lily Collins.

Look similar and best known roles are in period pieces: Claire Foy and Michelle Dockery.

Oh yes, definitely the Lilys. (Lilies?)

OMG !!!! I actually thought they were the same person but maybe had married a couple of times and name changed 😂😂😂

Objectively side by side I can see they don’t actually look alike, I just really struggle remembering which one is which.
