stumbled upon this awful video. I hope for his children’s sake that they’re now taken into care. Absolutely horrific!

I started work at 5am, so I accidentally saw the video before a) knowing anything about it and b) realising it was real.
I've honestly been lightheaded since then, I wish I could unsee it.

No one is blaming the op for the actions of a man. What’s being said is there is no Indication the man was a risk to his children,what happened was extremely distressing and in his own words it was suicide. He was not murderous and his children were not even in the property, so escalating it as a potential threat to his kids, with no evidence of such, is unacceptable.

I think it took time for a people to realise it was real and b to report it and for the mods to then see it and act. Yes it should have been quicker than it was.

But they were not, he picked a time they were not and he was clear on the video it was suicide, yes of course something worse could have happened, but it didn’t, there was no indication of any such leaning, so there is no need to make whay is a horrific situation worse. We can all do what ifs. Have at least a little empathy,

the way he treated Britney Spears during her head shaving period was absolutely horrific and mercilessly cruel. He then apparently had a change of heart or maybe realised the mean shit wasn’t lucrative anymore.

Its awful it was allowed. Imagine how many children/teens who use tik tok saw it.

No, sorry I don't think we can dismiss a call for help like that. He is now a threat to his children and I would be surprised if he ever sees them unsupervised again. A relative of mine had post partum psychosis, never harmed herself or her dc and was still locked up for almost 2 months in a mental health ward.

what I said was it was not ok to imaginary escalate. What if his kids, ex, parents, neighbours, whomever was there and he murdered them.

none of these scenarios happened, every scenario we can pretend imaginary things may have happened and run around screeching, but they didn’t. The situation is horrific enough without imaginary speculation.

this does not mean dismiss a cry for help. Which I don’t think it was, it was very real, very real indeed. Even the police thought they were moving to suicide by cop

Hope he gets the help he obviously needs. Having lived much of his life in the latest social media trend it is not exactly surprising that he chose this method . But he didn't have his kids in the property which is at least something he took into account. Obviously a very disturbed man .

What I couldn’t understand was he should have been in absolute agony. But he didn’t appear in any physical pain nor did he react like he was in physical pain.

I googled it, and apparently adrenaline and endorphin surges due to acute mental health crisis or manic episodes can mask pain so you don’t feel it,

he has previously expressed he was struggling with deep regret and shame due to his gossip past, and being publicly disliked, and on this horrific video he was saying this is what ever one wants etc

which does appear linked, but the fact he could do all that to himself and not feel it , not react in pain, for me is really shocking, and shows just how severe this was. He couldn’t even feel what he was doing.

He will bear a lot of scars as he mutilated himself,and I hope for everyone’s sake, inc his own, he gets the help he needs to recover. Both physically and mentally as he won’t need a constant reminder every time he looks at himself.
