In the loo in a pub in Richmond last night. 2 young women chatting, as I was going out one of them tapped me on the back and said “your E is very chic”.
any idea what that means? I’m 63 and not particularly stylish

Well, chic means stylish / fashionable / elegant, no idea about the e bit. Were you wearing something beginning with an e? Could it mean edgy? I need a teen to tell me now 😀 presumably delivered in a friendly positive way, no mocking vibe?

You probably look glamorous and they liked your dress. I'm not too young (47) but every time I see a chic woman who is older than me I think I want to be like that when I grow up. Maybe they thought the same?
