i was wearing earphones and it was really loud. Timing makes sense. The very hottest weather has passed, or cool enough families might do something and maybe those just got exam results going camping or partying.

So I tested how dry my lawn was today. Used a discarded feather to be the tinder and did a break, I.e. no possibility of spreading. Obviously had water to hand. The feather lit up in an instant and it was scary how a 5cm x 5cm square lit up so quickly. My lawn is a tinderbox 😮

My DH had the Welsh one first (which I loosely translated for him), then followed by the English one. I've only had the English one come through.
