MP Farage and his cronies will use the shocking murder of Ann Widdecombe as a lever to avoid scrutiny. I'll wager that he'll never turn up for the interviews in person to the Parliamentary Standards commission, because his private security team will deem it unsafe.

I think there may have been a small number of voters who have voted for him so that he would have to face the parliamentary enquiry.

But I thought he had £5m to pay for his security?

The website of Parliament’s standards commissioner has updated to confirm that the investigation into Nigel Farage over accusations that he failed to declare gifts and donations has resumed.

I saw a clip of him being interviewed by GB News - he said something about 'a piece of paper I didn't sign' or something similar. I'm assuming this will be the new party line - persecution due to a piece of paper.

If they are following the Johnson playbook we will now get multiple interviews from supporters that the Standards Committee is a kangaroo court and they will start raking through the backgrounds of those on the committee (nevermind that the Committee is both cross-party and half of the Committee are lay members elected because of their expertise).

Seem to remember that Dorries did all this before so she can just wheel out the same commentary.

It's already happening as 30p Lee is moaning about not being included in cross party committees.

Farage might wish he hadn’t won in the end

Someone needs to remind him reform need to attend work more than once in a blue moon to be allocated tasks within their workplace.

I’m a glutton for punishment and watched last night’s Newsnight. The more I see of Reform the more I’m convinced their media training is telling them to shout down and talk over everyone else. They all, without exception, do it.

I think it's also a feature of the sort of person who seeks to represent them.
