She's lucky Parliament is in recess. She would have been shredded in PMQ over this, and deservedly.

The PM hasn't spoken directly yet I see. Which is probably a good call as the focus would then move to 'Labour having a field day' and 'hypocrisy' rather than where it belongs.
I'd imagine he will have offered support to Baroness Berger privately perhaps. I can't imagine what this must feel like for her.😥

It looks as if Burnham is an advocate of keeping your powder dry and that other military adage about never interrupting your enemy when they’re making a mistake. It’s very sensible to allow the spotlight to fall fully on her.

She has also written a very self centred (I,I,I) article about Liddle peppered with a smattering of her usual spite aimed at those who didn't like him. Or who don't agree with her.

Allison Pearson has also written a sycophantic eulogy in The Telegraph this week which contains this hilarious paragraph.

Kemis brand is "reasonably smart person who spends way too much time on the internet". That's why there isnt any sense of coherency, it's all quite niche culture war/brain rot stuff that makes sense of you happen to be in the exact same set of echo chambers as her. all I know about Liddle is that he kicked his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach & wrote racist posts on the Millwall fan site (which he denied and then acknowledged).

He’d have to kick out all the kids with parents/grandparents who were born abroad because their (usually) dad was posted abroad with the forces. Loads of them were born in Germany.

Both me and DS dad were born in The UK.

He was not. He is British.

So would they deport his children if they were born in the uk?

And more importantly to where? Because Ds and his (hypothetical) wife would with both be British or she’d have another nationality.

I think if Lowe life was PM there would be a long queue of us volunteering to be deported as thanks to Brexit other options to escape are quite limited.

She gave him the Conservative seat!
So whatever crap falls out of his mouth is clearly something Tory HQ applauds.
