What it would be? Mine would be a very strong Southern Drawl. As deep south as possible. Think Texas or Alabama etc.

Yours?

Geordie or Cornish. Lush!

I'm interested in "post Scottish".

I describe my PiL's accents as posh Glasgow. Although they both grew up in humble areas of Glasgow they lived latterly in Bearsden so I think they adopted that accent.

My favourite UK accent is the one in the film Kes. Hoyland/Barnsley area of South Yorkshire.

I would love a west country accent, my accent is east midlands.

Northern Ireland accent.
Absolutely love it

Just my accent. Only because to have another one I'd have to have a different upbringing, friends and family - I'd be a different person entirely. But to remain me and have a different accent, I'd not sound like I belonged to my place and my people, and I love the warm voices of my home.

I just totally misread this as ‘have any accident’ and was thinking ‘well, none, ideally…’ I really need to learn to slow down. 😄

French or southern Irish
