What it would be? Mine would be a very strong Southern Drawl. As deep south as possible. Think Texas or Alabama etc.

I've been told mine is very "Oxford professor" which is quite neutral English but I'm a Black Country wench through and through and still understand dialect.

Oh yes Iain Dale has a beautiful voice, I listen regularly. According to Wikipedia he was born in Cambridge and grew up near Saffron Walden. And I could listen to Joanna Lumley forever.

Funny how so many people love the Geordie accent. It is a great one though.

Mine is a hybrid of potteries/South Yorkshire. I don't dislike my accent really and wouldn't change it, but if I had to change it it would be any of those 5 - pref Geordie.

I have a horrible speaking voice and hate to hear myself speaking but I'm happy with my NE Scottish accent as hardly anybody can tell what it is.

My parents were Irish, but I really don’t like irish accents for some reason.

My dad was always a bit aghast that his 4 daughters were what he called ‘posh’. He’d not admit it, but he’d have liked us to have an Irish twang.

I've got a Scottish accent but Mackem family so tend to speak that way with them too. DP is a Welshman. Our house is full of accents! Don't think I would change anything.

Cotswold. I somehow feel my Devon accent isn't quite broad Westcountry enough. Purely going by the accents of Kurtan and Kerry's accent on This Country.

Probably because we have our own language but were forced to speak English. Still annoys the heck out of a lot of us but we try not to be rude about it.

My accent is so Surrey. I’d take Spanish, Irish or Northern Irish

Welsh is not a single accent, any more than English or American are. ‘Their’ grasp of the English language is similarly varied.
