Ritchie Anderson on radio 2

He's covering for Trevor Nelson and now has his own jingle. They're testing the waters for his own show I think now there's about to be a reshuffle.
There is something about him that really gets on my wick and he's ruined escape to the country now too.
I like Ellie who's been doing Sara's show, use her instead please BBC!

I can't do with Ellie although not sure why as I thought she was ok on Strictly and don't get me started on OJ...

I must admit Ritchie is warming on me although I'm not sure how I'd feel if he had his own show every day 😬

I thought the other day that Greg James from Radio 1 breakfast show would be a good choice. He is now quite a bit older than most radio 1 DJ’s and then they tend to move across
to Radio 2. I would be quite happy with him.

Jesus no. Richie Anderson gets on my wick too and Ellie Taylor is just dull. I can't stand her voice either.

Ritchie comes across very inauthentic to me. He is a terrible interviewer too, he doesn't listen properly, just gets back to what he wants/ planned to say. Rylan on the other hand is actually a fab interviewer IMO, really listening and responding, pulling out the interesting remark and delving further, Ritchie needs to listen and take lessons! Or R2 should just find presenters who are naturals rather than trying to mould people they like.

BBC keep pushing him, he is bloody dreadful, boring and talentless. Expect him to get his own show anyday now. Love Trevor Nelson

Ritchie is just not good enough. Its as simple as that. He is a very mediocre local DJ. Im surprised radio 2 is still pushing him. I thought they got the message a while ago. I think Greg James is great but still enjoys being immature with his listeners which i dont think would work on radio 2. I think radio 1 and 2 are really struggling. Its a shame.

I absolutely love Gary Davis. I love it when he’s covering - I can’t understand why he doesn’t have his own show unless he doesn’t want one.

Ritchie is so irritating, so OTT, someone at the BBC is enamoured with him.

I love Rylan. It think he’s happy where he is which is a shame as I’d love to hear him more.
Ellie is dull but I found it quite comforting rather than annoying 😁
Greg is great but doesn’t want to move across yet I don’t think and probably wouldn’t be able to get away with being as silly and random as he is in radio 1. A bit like Scott Mills, I loved him on 1 but not 2.

He has a late night one doesn’t he but he’s been holding the fort on breakfast?

I feel like Richie is pretending to be whichever broadcaster he's with. Today's show he was pretending to be Sarah Cox

I thought Ritchie Anderson had a late night Sunday show on radio 2. I'm asleep then and didn't like him sitting in today. He's so fake sounding and as PPs have said doesn't listen to whoever he's speaking to....

I like Trevor in the afternoon as he's interesting but also quite soothing!

I can't listen to Rylan anymore because of the dreaded 'Sally Traffic'. I complained to the BBC about her once because she laughed her way through the bulletin, couldn't pronounce half the places and said something along the lines of 'there are long delays but I don't know why'. Useless when I was stuck in traffic and could barely make out a word she said. Their response 'we've passed on your feedback' - the next week it was more of the same so I don't listen on Saturday because she ruins every programme.... (Yes, I'm old and grumpy!)

Cant stand Ritchie if they give him the afternoon slot thats me done with radio2, cant stand Vern / Paddy either.

Sally Traffic is ruining everything. Surely everyone is bored of her interactions by now.

I like Sally! She doesn't really gaf and has a fb sense of humour. Richie on the other hand...what does he have on the the BBC that they keep giving him shows? He's absolutely dreadful - I switch off the minute I hear him.

I can’t stand him (as a radio presenter).

I can’t think of a single redeeming feature he has. He’s awful and whiny. Urgh.

I can’t bear him and don’t understand why the BbC are so determined to push him in everywhere. I rarely listen to R2 any more, it’s nowhere near as good as it used to be and I dislike nearly all the presenters - I was pleased to see the bland Tina Daheeley is leaving but she’s still going to cover for Jeremy Vine which she does very badly, no rapport with callers at all.

Can’t bear Richie - totally talentless. The BBC push him because he ticks a few boxes.

Tina is the WORST - you’re right, absolutely no rapport with the listeners at all. I hardly ever listen to radio 2 now, I used to love it then about 3 years ago it got shit - maybe when they got rid of Ken Bruce?! And when Steve Wright got moved off (RIP) - I’m 50 so I thought I was target audience, but I’ve actually gone back to Radio 1 as the DJs are better. Radio 2 is like fucking HEART now, which is the worst radio station known to man.
they need to get proper DJs who know about music and aren’t just glorified presenters.
