Should men remove body hair?

Benny91 · 21/06/2026 15:52

As most of the people I know (men) have removed all the body hair including on the legs.

I however, have a hairy chest, back, under arms, and legs. Is that ok?

Is it a trend nowadays to be a hairless man?

what are your thoughts?

You dont have a keep all body hair option, which is what I'd choose

YoullWorkitOut · 21/06/2026 15:54

I think men should remove any body hair they like but I hope they don't feel pressured to

Gcn · 21/06/2026 15:54

Keep it all

I could be proven wrong but think the vast, vast majority of women on here won't give a shit what you do with your body hair.

BettyTheGreat · 21/06/2026 15:55

I would also vote for keep your body hair! I'd find a completely hairless man a bit off-putting.

The only man I have ever known to do a lot of hair removal was a competitive swimmer.

Coconutter24 · 21/06/2026 15:55

I think men should do what they want with their own body hair

BEAchDays2 · 21/06/2026 15:56

Nobody ‘should’

Tollington · 21/06/2026 15:56

I don’t care what anybody else does with their body

AgnesMcDoo · 21/06/2026 15:56

Most people I know are happy with their body hair and leave it as nature intended

people should do what they want with their own bodies

HolidayPlanningAgain · 21/06/2026 15:56

Leave leg hair, everywhere else should be manscaped/trimmed

user293948849167 · 21/06/2026 15:56

Erm no option for nothing removed? I’ve never been with a man who has removed any body hair, I think it’s unnecessary.
Also think unnecessary for women too but that’s another debate

IPM · 21/06/2026 15:57

Are you bored?

As an adult you'll know that there is no 'should' or 'shouldn't' when it comes to personal hair.

You absolutely do know this of course, which makes me wonder why you're pretending you don't?

Beachtastic · 21/06/2026 15:59

Weird that there's no option to keep all hair. What the fuck is the world coming to!

GreenFootstool · 21/06/2026 15:59

I'm not voting because like women's body hair - their body, their choice.

Didimum · 21/06/2026 16:00

Their choice. Doesn’t matter what others think.

smallglassbottle · 21/06/2026 16:02

Removing body hair is not needed. I couldn't be with a man who removed their body hair. Shaving the face is probably okay, but I like to see a beard on a man anyway. I associate over grooming with narcissism and it's a bit effeminate for my tastes.

dementedpixie · 21/06/2026 16:02

They can remove whatever hair they like
My dh shaves his chest and armpits and trims public hair. I trim his back hair on some occasions after clipping his head hair. He has leg and arm hair.

ItWasntMyFault · 21/06/2026 16:02

If you have hair sprouting out your nose or ears then please remove it - otherwise I don’t think most women really care.

Hairyflapsmatter · 21/06/2026 16:03

I'm going to say their body their choice, but I love a hairy man, nothing like running your fingers through some chest rug. I find a shaved smooth man a bit icky.

AbsoluteHoot · 21/06/2026 16:03

It’s your choice.

Mostly 😬. If my husband had a hairy back, it’d be waxed off, lickety-split. 🤢

Lilimoon · 21/06/2026 16:04

Another vote for his body, his choice.

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 21/06/2026 16:12

Your body, your choice.

My female partner doesn’t shave most of their body hair.

Someone being comfortable in their own skin is what’s important.

Turtlebed · 21/06/2026 16:15

I don't think anyone, men or women should remove their body hair.

SodOffbacktoaibu · 21/06/2026 16:16

I've never liked under arm hair on anyone but didn't realise men were finally removing it!

It's your body. You can be hairy if you want....or not. As long as you don't mind women doing the same.

Each to their own. There's no should.

HoppityBun · 21/06/2026 16:17

Do what you please, but my preference is… No! Do not remove body hair. You’re men not boys
