How many countries have you visited, excluding different parts of the UK?

As we are in holiday season just how many countries have you all been to?

I bet some have been to loads!

I have only been to 13. I imagine mine are in the low numbers...

10 for me but my late husband had been all over the world (for work mostly).

I have found a lot of people rave about China. Never been.

I mean I've been to 52 UN countries.

A lot of the places in Europe were for short trips and visited several times. India and Thailand were in my 20s so I would like to go again with DH.

Depending on how you count, I'm in the mid-50s.

Some places I've visited are not "UN countries" (like Palestine and Vatican).

Plus depends on what you count as having "visited" - I don't count an airport connection (even if I spent the night but was only in the airport and hotel) but would count a day visit like on a cruise ship or I've done multiple day trips into Spain, France, and Belgium (when living in various parts of Europe) and would count that, even I didn't visit otherwise.

I would luv to go to Uzbekistan. A friend taught English there and it looks mega interesting.

Should I win any money I wd like to go there for a visit. I can no longer afford holidays and don't foresee this changing...!

Five. But I've visited one of them, France, over 50 times.

About 58 depending on which list of "countries" we're using.

I haven't included the Caribbean island of Martinique because it's officially French, nor Madeira off the coast of Africa which is Portuguese.

I have however included Hong Kong and Macau because when I went there they weren't part of China, although they are now.

I’ve been to the Vatican and also San Marino which I forgot to add so mine is actually 37, and I’ve been to all 4 countries in the uk but haven’t included those as per the op. If I did, as some posters have, it would be 41.

I’ve visited 47 countries.
My dc10 and 13 have visited 21

About 30 I think. I don't keep count though because I don't want to get into the trap of ticking off countries to get the number up.

I try not to go to the same place twice but I've been to the same countries I like multiple times.

Japan, Argentina and Vietnam are high on my list for the next few years. I'd also love to go to Jordan if the middle east settles down a bit.

I lived there for 12 years. There are challenges, but it is an amazing country.

23 I think - mostly Europe but also USA and Cuba. Dd - who is 22 - has just beaten me this year by doing the Baltic States, though I've been to Kosovo and Andorra and she hasn't

She's also been to Albania.

Ooh just remembered Malta and Cyprus so that brings me to 15, I feel like it might be 16 but can’t think where I have forgotten

My husband and I have 3 DC..
One Christmas the DC bought us one of those maps where you scratch off places you've been to.
Between us we've covered nearly all of it!
Both my DH and DC are/were in the merchant/ Navy (so Diego Garcia, Falklands, Japan, Norway, New Zealand..and obviously many many more.) I travelled to Europe and South America as a nanny. One DC went to work in a ranch in the USA.
Proud of how much we've seen of the world..

Four, although I don't remember one (I was a toddler when taken to Portugal). I have hazy memories of Spain, and I've also been to France and Germany.
