As we are in holiday season just how many countries have you all been to?

I bet some have been to loads!

I have only been to 13. I imagine mine are in the low numbers...

Mongolia, china, Kenya, Pakistan, us, new Zealand,
France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy Spain, Greece, turkey, Israel, Egypt, Ireland.
Not many but barely travelled in the 16 years since having kids.

GameOfJones · 20/06/2026 20:55

13 for me too:

South Africa
USA
Mexico
Barbados
France
Spain
Netherlands
Belgium
Poland
Switzerland
Estonia
Norway
Ireland (ROI)

I'm not counting islands so Isle of Man, multiple Spanish islands etc as separate countries, otherwise it would be higher.

I'm not that well travelled internationally...domestically is a different story as I've visited all but two English Counties. I will have to plan trips to Essex and East Sussex to tick them off my list 😂.

My favourite country I've visited is definitely Norway and I'm looking forward to getting my numbers up. We've got holidays booked to a couple of new places so it'll be 15 countries by the end of next year.

Some people have a very loose interpretation of what a country is 😁

52 UN countries, including The Vatican (which is an observer state)

mondaytosunday · 20/06/2026 21:12

Only about 15 or so but I’ve been all over the US and to Spain about 30 times. I’ve lived in three different countries.

It’s the Holy See that has observer status.

Good point. Thank you 😊

TimSamandLulu · 20/06/2026 21:25

Seven, but two of those were airport only on the way to somewhere else. So five, really. All in Europe. I prefer UK holidays.

MrsM2025 · 20/06/2026 21:31

But many more than once and 3 countries I’ve lived in
It’s an expensive hobby!

52 only takes you to Ecuador in the alphabetical list!

Or do you mean that you've been to 52, not that there are only 52?

I took it that she/he had visited 52 countries that are recognized by the UN.

Icanseeasquirrel · 21/06/2026 06:25

57 countries. I’ve never been to Ireland and hardly anywhere in Europe though. Saving the easy ones for retirement!

billandtedsexcellentadventure · 21/06/2026 06:56

Four? Greece. Spain. Portugal and a horrid canary island.
