As we are in holiday season just how many countries have you all been to?

I bet some have been to loads!

I have only been to 13. I imagine mine are in the low numbers...

savvy7 · 20/06/2026 15:09

Over 35 I think - may have missed a couple

DilemmaDelilah · 20/06/2026 15:09

Apart from stopovers, only France, Spain, Croatia, Malta, Malaysia and Australia. So hardly anywhere really.

Spudlover · 20/06/2026 15:11

35

I am trying to add 3 new ones each year.

Ineffable23 · 20/06/2026 15:13

I reckon 13 but I don't feel as though I have been hard done by with that list!

France
Spain
Portugal
Monaco
Italy
Malta
Czechia
Austria
Germany
Netherlands
Belgium
Denmark
Sweden

I feel like there is such a lot to see in Europe that there's always something new. E.g. I have visited Italy 7 times and visited 8 different places over those 8 trips. France I reckon I have visited 15 different places. So there's still always something new to see!

Crushed23 · 20/06/2026 15:16

Between 50 and 60. I’ve been to about 20 US states too. I’m 36.

I consider myself a travel addict - I love travelling more than anything else, and my gap year in my 20s was the happiest year of my life. 🥰

Augustus40 · 20/06/2026 15:16

Europe gets samey after a while. Africa is amazing. Very different.

TheIdlerReturns · 20/06/2026 15:19

You've inspired me to write them down as I don't know the number:

Turkey (repeatedly)
Norway
Sweden
Switzerland
Channel Islands
Mexico (repeatedly)

TeenToTwenties · 20/06/2026 15:21

ooh. I forgot Austria v briefly and Slovakia. That gets me to 22.

TheIdlerReturns · 20/06/2026 15:23

Forgot Iceland and the Dutch Caribbean (Bonaire and Curacao), so it's about 25.

theleftsuitcase · 20/06/2026 15:24

Four.

blackteaplease · 20/06/2026 15:26

16 which i didn't think was too bad until I saw some of the numbers here!

Waitingfordoggo · 20/06/2026 15:27

About 30. Mostly in Europe, but also USA and Canada several times, Caribbean, NZ, Morocco and Malaysia. I recognise how lucky I am. I am unlikely to continue at that pace as travel is so much more expensive now than it was 20+ years ago, plus I get more and more scared of flying as the years go by, and I also worry so much more about my carbon footprint than I used to.

Augustus40 · 20/06/2026 15:27

I think anything higher than 20 is impressive.

That’s an interesting take- I think there is so much diversity in Europe! Of course the climate is similar across Europe (ie you can’t find the tropics, desert or the tundra) but the different languages, architecture, food and culture is enough to keep me interested for plenty more visits. Slovenia is next on my wish list, and Tbilisi.

mugglewump · 20/06/2026 15:31

Just added up 42, though I have probably missed somewhere. Just over half of these are in Europe.

There is a free app called “been” that you can plug in your countries and track various things.
