The Home Secretary is responsible for allocating funding, setting national policing priorities and managing legislation relating to policing structures and powers.

The police were acting under government guidance / priorities. And we know what they are.

Yes and Starmer is denying two tier policing.

It’s from him. He needs to go.

The murderer did not use the traditional knife. That was tucked into his belt as is usual. Those knives are small and often blunt, as they are not intended for use.
The knife he used to kill was very different, and the reason for carrying it was not religious. It was to damage someone.

But he carried it frequently under the guise of religion and people at work and out and about would be either worried to challenge or accused of racism if they did because some knives are allowed for this religion

It's a wholescale problem where there are many examples of individual police officers and police forces making decisions that are highly questionable and seem ideologically driven. And no consequences for blatantly using the police force for their own aims.

E.g. Graham Linehan was arrested by police with guns at Heathrow for stating on X that he thought men should stay out of women's single-sex spaces. Who decided this was appropriate? Why was valuable police time wasted on this, when there has been insufficient police action on grooming gangs and women are constantly reporting credible and ongoing death and rape threats online and the police do sweet fuck all about it to the point that sometimes those women end up dead. Wayne Couzens - Macdonald's staff reported him for flashing (which is a crime) but no action taken by police, then he went on to murder Sarah Everard.

I no longer trust the police.

Edited

Agree

'No such language used with the Police's treatment of women who have been raped, of ethnic minorities, over the numerous and very recent inquiries into UK Policing'

Beyond belief. Working class white girls. Raped sexually abused and groomed. For years. By Pakistani - British Pakistani men. Ignored by the police, the government, the establishment. Why?

Edited

Err numerous Pakistani men have been arrested charged and sent to prison for this, have enough been charged etc? no, but to say its been ignored is not correct.
Plus white men commit by far the most sexual abuse against children.

Much of all abuse is against girls in the care system, just last week a manager of childrens home said "many of the girls go out at night, prostitute themselves, come back in with drugs and money" goes on to say "we aren't a prison, what can we do?"

Maybe address the utter collapse of child social services?

Yes but it goes higher, the ideology comes from Labour.

Well any replacement would be even worse. I'd rather Starmer stayed (until 29) tbh. And Labour concentrate on addressing the huge issues facing them. We're paying for them to look after us afterall.

What is in the Police and Crime bill 2025 that has introduced 2 tier Policing?

It appears to me that you and others are more interested in the politics of this, than actually dealing with the issues.

I’m not sure he can change it if he won’t admit to seeing the problem - which is two tier policing.

?! I said 'Ignored for years' .

Why do you think that was?

'White men commit the most... '

Again - why do you think that is?

If you ignore these very specific questions, you're obv not in good faith.

I'm not sure they'll have much choice. This can't be ignored.

Man alive. The Shere Panjab are on twitter. They're a street gang vigilante group (though they insist they're not) who formed in Handsworth ostensibly after reports that Sikh girls were being assaulted by Pakistani guys in the late 80s

There's a clip of one member demonstrating how sacred the Kirpan is to their faith. Although it culminates in him unsheathing it, at which point it actually is unequivocally an offensive weapon in law 🙄.

I don't think that the politicians are getting it:

Victoria Climbié was an eight-year-old girl who died in London in February 2000 after enduring horrific, prolonged torture by her great-aunt and her boyfriend. Her abuse was reported to social services 12 times but ignored because the social services were worried any intervention could lead to an accusation of racism.

Sara Sharif was a 10-year-old girl whose body was found in August 2023 at her home in Woking, Surrey, after years of physical abuse and neglect by her father and stepmother. Her
school notified social services of bruising on her face, but the council’s subsequent investigation was brief and resulted in no action out of concerns of accusations of racism.

Victoria Climbie died because social services were more concerned about accusations of racism than saving the life of a 6 year old child.
Sara Sherif died because social services were more concerned about accusations of racism than saving the life of a 10 year old girl.
Henry Nowak died because police were more concerned with accusations of racism than saving the life of an 18 year old boy.

This is the problem.
